Passholder magnet?

We recently became pass holders for the 1st time. I got my magic bands in the mail with sliders today. When do I get my magnet? I was thinking it would come with the bands, but sadly it did not.

Just based on what I saw at the parks yesterday, there were lineups for passholder magnets. But I’m guessing there would be other places to get them too not just the parks.

We were there a few days before the flower and garden ones were released. I thought they sent an orange one in the mail.

You’ll get the standard Mickey one in the mail. I can’t remember how long ours took, maybe a month?

The standard one comes in a different package from the bands and only comes randomly, it seems. Some people get it a month or so after renewing while others never get one.

When we (2 adults) renewed ours last year, I got a package of 4 orange ones addressed to me and a few weeks later he got a package of 2 addressed to him. We renewed at the same time, are married, and clearly didn't buy 6 passes. So strange!

The only place we have found them (here now) is at EPCOT, more specifically, MOUSE GEAR. The line into the side entrance was very long but goes quickly as a flash of your ID and a scan of your AP gets you a magnet and you’re on your way.

This is our third year of being passholders, we only got one of the orange magnets sent to us, and we had to ask for it.

I emailed Disney and they mailed one to me while I was staying on site. Never got it in the mail (but then again I’m in Canada. Nothing good like magic bands or sliders gets mailed to me. Only marketing materials.)

If you’re at the parks, I believe guest services at MK (by fire station) has the orange Mickey magnets.

The other Passholders magnets can be picked up (when available) at Epcot by Mouse Gears. Currently it’s Donald. Switching to orange bird April 20. No info on the next one after that yet.

No, we are not in the parks. We activated our passes on a quick weekend trip and then went back home. We live in Georgia so it is about a 5.5 hour drive. We will probably go again in early June.
