I haven't really noticed a Pass Holder line the last time I was there. Maybe I need to look harder. My husband and I are passholders and used the passholder line during RD at most parks.
My kids are not passholders. They are 12, 12, and 7.
Can they come with us in the passholder line or do we all need to use the regular line?
Yes they can go through the line, but it takes the same amount of time if not longer

Far left at Epcot, far right at AK. Don't remember MK and we skipped HS this trip.

Is there any actual written rule that it's supposed to be AP holders only? We are AP holders and recently returned from a trip with our son and daughter-in-law, who are not. There was a CM asking people if they were passholders at the beginning of the AP line at MK, and he said they could go through with us. We also asked at EPCOT (where the regular line was much longer) and were told they could go into the AP line as our guests. After asking the first two times, we just all used the AP line and no one ever said it was AP only and that no AP guests were allowed to enter.Mk and HS are far right.
It's suppose to be only AP holders and no guests, but I'm sure they can get through fine. Majority of time we enter there's a cm asking if we're all passholders
And I've found AP line much faster than regular lines. But obviously if a regular line has 5 people in it and AP has 15, I go in the regular line
People can differ as to what "probably" and "maybe" the hard rule, though. I was just wondering if there is anything out there saying that guests of annual passholders aren't allowed to enter the line with them. I'm assuming that the line is for the convenience of AP holders. It would have been no convenience whatsoever if my husband and I had to wait on the other side of the regular line for the rest of our party. Maybe the rule is that AP holders and their guests can enter the line. My question was whether there is any actual support for the statement that the line is restricted to AP holders only.I suspect it's at the discretion of the CM monitoring at that time. I think if you are looking for a "Hard" rule, that it would probably be that it's for AP only (and maybe children 12 and under with parent/guardian)
I seen both answers. Several times when we went they have told us Passholder only and friend went to the other line. Overall we have found regular lines often just as fast to go through.
They were really monitoring the lines when we were there too, and even when we specifically told them our son and daughter-in-law were not annual pass holders, they were allowed to go through with us. I sent an email to Disney asking what, if any, rule is in place. We were there for a week - it's hard to believe that we were just lucky they were allowed to enter with us every time.A few weeks ago we used both lines at different times depending on the length of the lines. Sometimes we really saved time - other times right opposite, so we used regular.
They were really monitoring the lines when we were there and turned away people even after they waited in the line - not children, obviously.
This should answer pp's question.

Maybe the people who were turned away had no annual passholders in their group. Can't answer to this!! Just know what we experienced!!
