We were typing at the same time! :surfweb: I'm a little slow this morning.

Looks like some magic did happen over night. I'm on the phone trying to apply the new rates to an existing ressie. Wish me luck.

Does anyone know if these rates are good for a 2 bedroom or treehouse villa at SSR?

Yes. I'm looking at mid-October (so, regular season - not value) and it's offering me $514/nt for a treehouse.

I do not yet have an AP but am going to get one in 10 days when we're down there. I need to book my Xmas trip though. So I'm wondering, what number do I call and what is the code to book this? I've heard that as long as I have the AP in hand when we check in, we're okay, right? Do I just call the general WDW reservation # and ask for the AP discount? Thanks!

Manda, you are so awesome for posting this! I won't be an AP holder until we make our trip in September, but it's great to know now what the numbers are that I'll be budgeting for November & December. :thumbsup2

And...if anyone happens to be booking the Poly for the first tier (Nov. 12), I would love tot know what the AP price is for one night...

Thanks again!

You may as well call & try, but I am going to go ahead and say that you won't be able to book it with a code until you have your AP# - for the same reason we don't even have access to the prices. I would guess, though, that you could go ahead and book the trip for the dates you want and then apply the AP discount once you're in posession of it. But I could be wrong... :confused3

I believe you are able to book the AP rate but must show your AP at check in. Atleast that is the way it used to be. I will be calling later when I get home. I am going down in August and getting an AP but plan on booking the AP rate for my October trip now. If things have changed please let me know.

You can, in fact call and get the rates without the pass in hand. I just did, as I had planned. (I was waiting for these to try and better the AAA rate I already had.) They didn't have my first resort available. (We are doing a split stay POR and Kidani.) They had Kidani avail but it was only $25 less a night than AAA. That isn't worth it for me to buy the AP. But, maybe for someone else it may work!! It is like $100 off rack rate. Also, I asked about an extension / new offer. She said to keep checking back that there "may" be something new but that FD definitely won't be extended??!! So, we'll see! I would love that opportunity!!

In theory, you are supposed to show your AP at check in. However, I have used the AP rate more times than I can count and never been asked. Not one time. Not saying that other people aren't asked, but that's been my experience. I've also never been asked for the AP number when I call, just the appropriate code. I mean, really, who carries their AP around with them? When I book through the website, I do have to enter my AP number.

I have been asked for my AP every time I've checked in with an AP rate, 10 - 15 times probably. You don't however need the AP to make the reservation. I just applied the code to my existing ressie for Dec and saved over $1,100.00 :cool1:!!!! Thanks guys!!!

Just got my reservation to $700 less than it was for 4 nights at the Grand Floridian in December. I do not have my AP yet, but I was able to book the AP rate--no problem at all.

Thank you so much Manda !

I was able to modify my reservations and my sister one, and you made us save nice money !!!

I was surprised to have the AP special rate so soon.. Last year, if I remember correctly, it came out on august 13, two days before the general public offer... So, will the general public offer will be in two days ??????

I am crossing my fingers... Last year, it was also better than AP rate !

Is there a 3 letter code or anything that goes along w/ the AP rates? Or do I just ask for AP rates? :confused3

Glad it helped some people... didn't help me at all, LOL. I had a bounceback rate booked already and it was still better than the AP rate. We really wanted to switch to BC or YC, but the room we could get there at the AP rate would still cost us more than the 1 BR villa we have reserved at BLT.

I have a silly question..

ADP means an annual pass, right? Is there a point where getting an annual pass makes sense, just to take advantage of the discounts? We are staying at FWL for 7 nights - 11/30-12/7/09.

You just need one AP at check in to get the AP rates, so it may be worth looking into. The room discounts are pretty good. Not sure if they apply to FWL, but I just called for those dates for WL and all that was available was courtyard with bunk.

I just got my Pop Century lowered from $118.13 per night to $77.63 thats including tax. Yay!!! that saved me almost $200.00 for my trip in Oct.
