DH has a convention in downtown Orlando, and we are staying at the Radisson Resort Parkway just outside of WDW. We are renting a car for our stay. Our plan is for him to drop us off at the parks each morning on his way to the convention.

Does anyone know if it is possible to drop off passengers without having to pay for parking?

Thanks so much!

I am not quite positive, but I don't think that this can be done. The only way to get to the front entrance of the parks is to go through the toll plazas, and I doubt that they would trust someone who says they're just dropping off. Someone else may know more for sure.

Another option might be to see if the Radisson offers a complimentary shuttle to the parks.

I don't know the answer to this, but you could always do to a resort for breakfast and take the bus to the park

That's not a bad idea. But you will need a PS for a restaurant there though to be able to get in to the resort.

Hi gasman61,

It is possible. I do it all the time. Simply tell the Castmembers you see that you want to drop people off. They'll direct you to a spot in the parking lot marked "Guest Drop Off" or something similar. Not a big deal at all.

Sincerely,

Len

We got dropped off at Downtown Disney Marketplace once, and just took the internal transportation from there! :)

I doubt it would be a problem. I've driven through both MGM and Animal Kingdom parking lots. ( I got lost!) and they let me drive through to the exit - It sounded like they're used to it!
