I just got word today from Pat at the Timeshare Store that we passed ROFR. She stated the Timeshare closing people will be getting ahold of us in the next couple of days. About how long have others had to wait from this point on until the closing date??...smjj

Congrats and Welcome Home!

It took us 20 days to pass ROFR, then about a week for closing.

Enjoy.

:smooth:

Welcome Home!

Once I passed ROFR it took 12 days to get the closing stuff.

Welcome Home!

Get your money ready. We received our closing docs in 7 days. They give you an estimated closing date but they usually will close the transaction as soon as they receive everything back from the buyer and seller.

CONGRATS!! and Welcome Home

Hi,

Congrats & Welcome home!!!

Allison an associate

Congratulations and Welcome Home!!!

I think it took us right around 2 weeks for the closing papers to arrive from ROFR.

Congrats & Welcome Home!!! It took about a week after RPFR for our closing documents to be emailed to us, I just sent the money last Friday and waiting for closing to complete.

Congratulations and welcome home!!!!

We are on day #1 after passing ROFR, so I am in the same position...I know patience is a virtue, but it still stinks to have wait more.

I recieved an interesting phone call today. Several weeks ago when we first started looking into DVC(again), I requested the standard packet from DVC. Well as I stated above, we passed ROFR yesterday. The phone call today was from the rep. we had talked to originally. She wanted to know what we thought and had we made a decision, she was very perky and appeared very content and happy. When I explained we had just purchased a resale and had passed ROFR yesterday her demeaner change right away. I hope it was just due to her losing a commision. Would they or could they through a monkey wrench into our closing date or am I just being paranoided? Until we close, I am nervous as heck...smjj

Once Disney waives their Right of First Refusal it is out of their hands. The transaction is now between you and the seller. The final info is sent to Disney after the transaction is closed and the deed is recorded.

If your contract made sense for Disney to buy, they would have. I don't believe individual guides would have any influence in the process.

I agree with All5ofUs -- If Disney waived ROFR, they can't change their minds. It's a contract.

Congrats to everyone who passed ROFR! I passed recently, too, and express mailed my cashier's check yesterday! :bounce:

Don't worry be happy. She has nothing to do with your resale.Get that check ready to send into resale.
Igot all my points thru DVC and Im happy with that.Good Luck and Welcome Home!!!!!
