Passed ROFR -- Great Birthday present!!

**** (Jacki's son at A Timeshare) called us around noon today to let us know that we passed Disney's ROFR on our BWV contract! Hooray! From what **** said, he received word today from Disney on about 30 contracts so perhaps some of you will also get the good news today!!

Took almost 3 weeks to hear back so we are relieved!

My DH's birthday is today so this was a most EXCELLENT gift!!

Hope you get the Happy Birthday call VERY soon! Our BWV contract was for 270 points, Feb use year, all 2004 points available, 80 banked points, $74 PP. We pay 2004 maintenance fees. This is our second contract, both of which are BWV. Just wish our first trip home was before mid-October...

Thanks for the good wishes. Asking price for our BWV resale was $72, which we offered. Hope it was not too low. Seems like SSR prices have caused the resale market to spike a little, or maybe it's just my imagination.
We are going to BWV in October also for a family gathering of 13. Really blew the points but SO looking forward to it. October seems so far away! Ill be making a wish while blowing out my candles!

Jaki told us that offering $74 - $75 for BWV would more or less ensure that Disney would not invoke ROFR; that's certainly not to say that $72 won't be accepted (which, BTW, is a great price!) We are not going until October either -- this will be our first time so we are VERY excited. Perhaps we'll see you there!!
