To those who bought "waterparks and more" option and are going in the summer, do you still get passes for Disney Quest?

I was told yes. However, I was told that all passes that have included DQ would still included it until it closed. Now I'm being told that the Platinum Plus will NOT include it. I know it probably technically never included it, but since it's the replacement for the PAP, you'd think it would. I'm trying to figure out how to time my upgrade, lol.

Went on Sunday and I can confirm, just use your Magic Band at the entrance and you can go right in. I called Disney specifically to ask about this and they told me it was no longer included, so we did not plan to go, but then a booklet in the hotel says it is included. And indeed it was.

Thank you for OP for reporting this and those of you who answered. We have the PHs for our September trip and were on the fence about adding the WP option, we love DQ and will be glad if we can have the option of one last time. Hoping it will still be there in September!

I have been curious about this too. We've never been to DisneyQuest, and my daughter really wants to go during our November trip. I was excited when I found out there was no longer an imminent closing date, but I have seen conflicting information about whether the Water Park and More tickets still included DQ. So glad to see those tickets are still working! I don't think I would've paid more for our tickets just to gamble on whether we could use them at DQ, especially since it may be too cold for a water park, but the number of days we needed was actually less on the Parksavers website than the tickets without that option. I thought that was strange but it definitely made my decision for me! I really hope it's still open in November and that we can still get in with those passes!

Was there 2 weeks ago with wp and m pass.

Good to know! I've told my daughter we may not be able to go because I don't want to get her hopes up in case they do close by November or no longer accept the wp&m tickets, but I'm really hoping we can go on our arrival day and possibly our midweek non-park day as well. Thanks!

I'm going to look into this because we were told the Florida Resident PP+ included everything at the time we purchased it. I'm wondering if they removed it from the printed literature due to the plan of closing it in January. Can anyone confirm they were denied entry with their Platinum Plus Pass ?

So is this just another little thing where being an AP is a disadvantage? I can't book my entire wdw stays worth of fastpasses due to being an AP. I really regret the AP and wish I had just bought a 10 day ticket and then upgraded.

This is a quote from a reputable fan site. The Platinum Plus Annual Pass, formerly called the PAP, is available to everyone. It entitles guests to unlimited admission* with park hopping privileges with no blockout dates to the Magic Kingdom® Park; Epcot®; Disney's Hollywood Studios; Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park; Disney Quest, Disney's water parks: Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon, Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course

Well I just got off the phone with the Disney ticketing office and they told me that Disney quest is NOT included in the platinum plus annual pass. It doesn't make sense why as an AP holder I am finding many little loopholes where I would have been better off with no AP. UGH.
But hey I was offered the opportunity to buy the premier for an extra $400 a pass to be able to go.

Ok update: I just called guest relations and was told by them that the platinum plus DOES NOT include Disney quest.
Is there really any reason to get an AP anymore? I keep feeling like I made a mistake in that.

Is this a trick question? the only reason to have an AP in the first place is if that's cheaper than not having it. There isn't really any perks to having it (time to time maybe something interesting). If your vacation would cost less without it, then yes you dont' need it anymore and you can save money not getting it.

Let me explain:
If I had purchased a water parks and more add on to a regular ticket, I could visit Disneyquest for the length of the ticket. Then at that time apply the money to an annual pass (which I would lose the Disneyquest entrance) and cost the same price. Therefore, I regret buying an AP as I lost out on e trance to Disneyquest despite paying a huge increase this year for the AP over a year ago.
If I had purchased a package I would have been able to get the summer my way bb8 magicbands and then had them at upgrade to the AP. When I asked if o could do that for my trip next month, I was told I would lose all of my fastpass+ plus options that I have already made.
I also would not be limited in my fastpass+ options as we are with an AP. I am staying off property for a couple days before our on property stay. Because of that I was told I cannot make any fastpass+ because of the AP.

This CM has a lot of incorrect information. To get fastpass+ you only need a valid ticket with enough days that your trying to get fp+. If you switch up your reservation, again you only need to end up with the correct number of ticket days on whatever method you want to make them early. You can upgrade the new package tickets to an AP or just let them stay in your MDE account to use or upgrade in the future. You already have an AP so there is the lower cost to renew than upgrade/buy new ones that also factor into this for how much it really costs.

As far as WP&M, I found it was cheaper to just pay to get into these things for how we rarely go to DQ or the water parks. WP&M didnt' save us money and when we upgraded our tickets to AP, we didnt' have to get an AP with waterparks on it (btw if you have WP&M on your ticket and you do not go into a water park before upgrading, you can still upgrade to a AP without waterparks on it).
