Pass holder bag check

I hope they continue this It was fast they had a bag check at animal kingdom for pass holders only hopeing it not just for pandora and it's something they keep what do you think

they do passholder bag check now? that's brand new I haven't seen it.

That must brand new.

I found the entrances for the AP Holders to be so-so. Sometimes they worked great last week other times it took longer. At one point for MK entrance, I left the AP entrance and went over the the regular one and got in faster.

I wonder if the bag check will be the same way if they keep it.

I think it is just because there is AP previews so a ton of us going. It was definitely nice though.

Pass holder bag checks sound like a great idea, but like others, I'd never heard of them happening.

I would like to see this continued. I saw the picture posted yesterday from AK, and I thought that this would be a great addition. Hopefully it goes to the other parks.

If it's just happening at AK, and it happens to be AP preview days .... sounds like a temporary measure due to so many APs showing up, some possibly in close time windows.

Would be nice though so fingers crossed.

He's the run down.. They did add it to get passholders in easier.. It was a dream, even though the lines were 2 or 3 times longer than the rest of the bag checks I decided lets just try it out, everyone knew the process, and whisked right past. no surprises, everyone was carrying only what they needed and took about 2 minutes to get through with 6 people in front of me... same with the metal detector just after it... and with everyone AP going around the tickets to the right following that sign, we all get into the park very fast.. I like this setup a lot.

Now talking to everyone there including a manager that just happened to be around, it's out for the AP previews but also as a test so it may or may not continue or get rolled out. I personally think it should continue and I plan to email guest services to tell them how much I liked it and recommend everyone else do as well.

Yeah, they had this set up at AK on Saturday when we arrived around 12ish. Honestly didn't really need it, the regular security line was 1-2 deep. There was no one in the AP security line. I guess I can see times when it would come in handy, but it was overkill at that particular minute we happened to go through.

I'll take it at an Epcot RD though!

We have seen AP bag checks once at Epcot.

That would be awesome! We have us AP entrance but never bag checks!

Just came back and never saw any passholder 'only' bag check lines - must have 'just' happened!

There were, however, separate park entrance lines for passholders. We found those much shorter at times - others, not so much. We only used them when shorter.

So many people got turned away by guard (some right at entrance scan). Was constantly announced by guard at end of line, but either people were not paying attention, or thought it wouldn't be noticed.

About time an added perk for PH's for entrance!
