ok so this guy invited me to his birthday party and were going swimming and stuff...but i'm kinda scared to ask my mom. i have nooo idea why i just am. i mean i've never been to a boys party before, and i dont know. and i feel uncomfortable in a swim suit so i just don't know what to do. i mean my best friend will be there i dont know...please i need to adviceeeeee!!!!!

or... I would make sure I know every detail of the party.. my mom always asks for details, so now I know if I don't know them, then chances are.. I'm not going. lol

As for the bathing suit thing.. wear a tank top and some shorts over your swim suit.

yeah well he has a pool inside his house.... and yeah i agree with cindys castle too. i mean i'm not big, that not why i don't want to wear a swim suit. i don't know i'm just weird. and ha ha i wish my mom is that easy to talk to...i mean i don't know its hard to explain

I agree with all of that. And don't make too big of a deal about asking your mom. Just relax about it. If you worry then that would make asking even worse. Just come flat out and ask her. And it's not like you'd be he only girl there so it shouldn't be that weird for you to go.

and if your nervous about the swimsuit thing, wear a tank & shorts like Kelsi said or try a tankini and boyshort bottoms. (if thats what they're called. youo know the little short ones)

I ger nervous about that kind of stuff too, what I do it just plan out how I want the conversation to go in my head, and make sure I have tons of details about what will be happening, phone numbers to the kids parents, incase my mom asks. I'm sure you will be fine
