Party parade - Liberty Square area?

Trying to come up with a plan for a MVMCP.

For the parade (will do first parade), I was thinking of doing the parade in the Liberty Square (or Frontierland) area (I hear it's less crowded and thus don't have to get setup as early as Main Street or the Hub). About what time (how early before parade start) would I need to get setup if doing it there? Any recommended areas?

At least 30 minutes before.

In front of Hall of Presidents or deep in Frontierland, past Country Bears.
(But, from those locations you won't be able to see the spectacular, not-to-be-missed show that is actually projected on the front of the Castle, "Celebrate the Magic," which begins about 15 minutes before the fireworks.)

Thanks. But I though the parade is usually at 8:15.. would guess it'd be past Hall of Presidents by 8:30 (?), and Celebrate the Magic is at 9:15 (fireworks at 9:30). So I should be able to - between parade and fireworks - squeeze in some party stuff and get setup for Fireworks? Around what time would you recommend I wander back into hub area for fireworks? (and any recommendations of good 'bang for the buck' spots with respects to being able to see it but not having to camp out for too long?). I was hoping to catch the Tomorrowland show between parade and fireworks (show scheduled for 8:40) - although that may be too tight.

The parade is 21 min according to TP. If it arrives at HOP by 8:30 (???), you're looking at 8:50 when it finishes at HOP.

And expect the Hub to be mobbed by Main St and Hub parade-watchers as soon as the end of the parade clears their area. Standing room only. Not much moving going on. I would not expect to do other party stuff in between.

ETA: My conjecture assumes that the parade begins on Main St.

It doesn't. It starts deep in Frontierland.

But, your analysis is pretty accurate, regardless of the parade direction.

We always go directly across from the riverboat.....Near Liberty Tree tavern. The road is straight and you get some good shots. Plus the performers are at their best here....

Is the parade that tight in time to celebrate the magic on party nights? there was a decent time gap at the MNSSHP I was at and we casually made our way over to the hub to see the end of a stage show, celebrate and the fireworks.. of course MVMCP doesn't have trick or treating to distract families from waiting around extra long so maybe tighter is better for MVMCP.

There's a raised deck in front of the shootin arcade. You can sit on it instead of the ground and stand up when the parade comes. The rope is right in front of it, so only one person deep. Depending on your preference, you can grab that ground space, or watch from the higher spot on the deck. Great view

Heres the view from that spot

Then you can cut through to Adventureland and out to the hub as soon as the parade passes. You'll probably see the end go down Main St.
