We've traveled with a party of 6 many times and had no problems getting the ADR's we wanted, but this coming November we'll have 8 in the party. I just want to make sure I know what to expect when making my ADR's. Can anyone help me with that?

Thanks!

I was always a party of 7 and never had a problem as long as you call within the time frame. Like 90 days you should be fine.

We travelled once as a party of 19 and although we didn't all eat at the same place at the same time, the few ADR's I made for the entire group were no problem. ;)

If you book at the 90 day mark, you should be fine. :goodvibes

There were 8 plus an infant last September when we went. We ate at TS rest. for 6 meals and I did not have a bit of trouble making the reservations or getting seated.

This is handy to know. We have always been 2 or 4, but this year we will be a party of 8. Thanks for asking (and answering) the question.

Did party of 11 (we leave in 4 days) without problem. The CM let me know which places where we "might" be seated at separate tables, that was Coral Reef and Cape May character breakfast. Everyplace else we will be seated as a group of 11.

We made our ADR's at the 90-day mark for a party of 11 - got everything we wanted - had to adjust the time we wanted for 1900 Park Fare dinner. They did have to book our ADR's at 2 or sometimes even 3 tables - I am hoping that they will be able to sit us together when we arrive (they told us that they would try, no guarantees). We used a Grand Gathering number when we booked, don't know if that makes a difference.
Good Luck getting all of your ADR's!!! pixiedust:

On our last trip, we were a party of 13, and I didn't have any problem getting the dates and times we wanted. Well, more or less on the times - I didn't call first thing in the morning, so instead of (for example) a 7:00 dinner at Le Cellier, I think we settled for 7:20. But basically, we were set for the few meals we did as a group of that size.

we were a party of 9 and when I made ADRs, the Cm mentioned the might not be able to seat us all together. But we were all seated at a big table together at every restaurant we went to, except Sci Fi (due to each car only holding 6.)

We traveled once as a party of 8.
I had no problems getting the ADRs I wanted.

We were seated at a large round table for dinner at each:
LTT
CP (Mother's Day)
CM
1900 PF
'Ohana
WCC

When I made the ADRs, the cm on the phone said that in some places, we may have to sit at two tables...but that never happened.

Thanks for all the replies. One reply mentioned using the Grand Gathering number. Is this necessary or were you able to use the regular WDW-DINE number?

Thanks for all your help!!!

I have reservations for a party of 8 at the following no problems.

1900 Park Fare
Chef Mickey's
Ohana's
Kona Cafe- breakfast (the one reservations we have 2 tables)
Whispering Canyon
Boma
Grand Floridian Cafe
Tappan Edo (this one is perfect, each table if for 8)
Coral Reef

They tell you if you might have to split up. We had one at Yak and Yeti for dinner at 2 tables so I cancelled it since it was dinner. I don't mind splitting for breakfast, but dinner is different.

We were a table of 10 on most days of our trip in November (and then became a party of 8 when my sister in law and her boyfriend left mid-week) and either way we had no problem with ressies but I did call the first day I was able to. Like the previous posters mentioned they did say we had to take 2 tables for some places.

Went last April with a group of 9. Park was very (very) crowded. When I booked ADRs I was told that several of the restaurants would seat us 5 and 4, however, that never happenned. We sat at one big table everywhere we ate.

This is very reassuring. We're a party of 7 this year, and I was afraid I'd have trouble getting seating, given Disney's tendency to book to the exact party size. My 90+10 window doesn't open until March, but I feel much better about thing now!
