Party of 7 ADRs - How Hard Are They To Get?

We have seven adults in our group and have a few ADRs we are looking to get:

• Sanaa (lunch - day 1)
• Artist Point (dinner - day 1)
• Brown Derby (dinner - day 3)
• Be Our Guest (bf, lunch or dinner - day 6)
• Kona (dinner - day 6)
• Restaurant Marakesh (dinner - day 5)
• Boma (dinner - day 4)

I read that the larger the group the harder it is to get ADRs. How many of these are going to be out of the question with a group?

Be Our Guest is going to be the most difficult to get no matter the party size. You may have better luck if you split the party. Then when you get to the restaurant, you could ask to be seated together or next to each other.

We're a family of 9 and I was able to get everything we wanted (including BOG for lunch and dinner) on our 180 + 10 booking date. The only restaurant we got that you are also looking for was BOG, but several of ours were others that I'd heard could be hard to get--'Ohana, H&V character lunch, CRT, Chef Mickey's, etc. I too was afraid our party size would make things more difficult, but that didn't end up being the case. I hope you're able to get everything you want!

Were you right online at 6am when the opened?

Yes, I was online immediately at 6am. And...(and this can be a big deal) the site wasn't glitchy at all for me that morning. I've heard so many stories of the site being glitchy and people having to wait to use the phones with everyone else at 7. But if the site is working properly and you're staying on property and can book the harder ones several days out from your 180th day, you should be fine. I got my BOG lunch at 180 +2 and BOG dinner at 180 +5.

BOG will be the most difficult, but not impossible. I just got one for 10 people even though I was unable to get it at 180 days out.
I've booked ADRs for 8 and it wasn't bad.
Be ready to book right at 180 days and start with BOG, for a day later in your trip.

That is good to know. We are looking to book BOG at 180 + 5 so hopefully that will help. *crossing fingers*

Check for a party of 7 first, but if that's not available, try looking for a party of 8 because sometimes the reservation system has a harder time finding tables for an odd numbered group. Just let the castmembers at the podium know there are only 7 of you when you check in and as long as at least one person shows up for the reservation you will not be charged for the "missing" person. Since everyone needs to be included because of fire code regulations do not try looking for a table for 6 or you risk one person not being seated.

I was able to get everything I wanted for a party of 7. I was online right before 6am and started with the hardest reservation, BOG.

My friend did her ADR's right at 6am online at her 180 day mark for her party of 7 and got everything she wanted, except Beaches n Cream. She didn't try for BOG but she has restaurants like Akershus breakfast, Chef Mickeys breakfast, Garden Grill, Hoop Dee Doo, Crystal Palace breakfast, Sci-fi dinner, Yachtsmans Steakhouse, Cape May Cafe breakfast.. she got all of these with no problems for 7 people. I was a little shocked that out of all of those, Beaches was the only one she couldn't get, but they are staying at BC so I'm sure they'll get an adr as it gets closer. BOG is going to the hardest to get out of all of your choices, but it is good that you aren't trying to get it in the beginning of your trip... the later the better! You should not have any problems with the others on your list.
