Yes you are all right about the non involved party, now suddenly having an opinion about everything!!!
Every so often he will ask, now what are we doing in Disney? Where are we going on such such day or Do we have hoppers ? or my all time favorite tell me again, the plan? Hello

Ok so after he decided to take an interest suddenly on where we would be eating, I showed him the menus and told him all our options. I of course was soo excited to have scored all the favorites such as 50s PTC, WCC, Ohana dinner and Bk,, Chef Mickeys, Kona , Coral Reef and Le Cellier!!! Did he not know how lucky we were???
So buzz kill number one, he really had no interest in going to 50s or WCC didnt like the menu and doesnt like attention drawn to him

Ok, I wasnt crazy about the menus either, but thought the kids would have fun. I gave in to that one and agreed to cancel those two.. Again I knew I had way to many ADRs for our time frame and budget, so I was prepared to cancel a few. But not the ones that everyone talks about, not the ones I was excited about trying. So I also knew I had wayyy to many character meals, and when they added that lovely holiday surcharge Chef Mickeys was more than the others so xlnd that too.
Now, my hubbys bday is right before we leave, and we will also be there over Fathers day . So my plan was to celebrate his bday on arrival at Ohanas for dinner. Then to celebrate Fathers day with a Lunch at Coral Reef or Le Cellier the day before and dinner on Fathers day at Kona .. Sounds like a great plan right??
Well again after looking at the menus he just wasnt into Ohanas or Coral Reef!
What are you kidding me? Look again please!!! Nope, doesnt like them but did say Le Cellier caught his eye and he was fine with Kona. He was not and is not thrilled with Ohanas b/c of how much $$ it will be , and Emma will probably eat bread and take one bite of something and be done. So hard to justify paying those prices when you just know they arent going to eat anything! Since we arent on the
DDP , we do have to be cost conscious of what things cost etc..
I have had my heart set on ohanas,, I think the food looks amazing and I think the kids will love it! Since we arent doing the other fun things like WCC, or 50s I decided I am not giving this one up! So Happy Birthday we are keeping it!
Now I was a little disappointed about him not liking Coral Reef, again I thought the kids would love it. But I also like the menu better at Le Cellier (I think) so agreed to xlnd Coral Reef and we will do lunch the day before at Le Cellier..
I have been asking everyone what characters they wanted to eat with? My hubbys choice was Goofy, but silly me kept getting Pluto and Goofy mixed up! I know** gasp**
I had breakfast planned for him at Ohanas with Sticth since that was also my sons request, thinking that goofy would be there. Once I figured out the mistake I made I xlnd and rebooked Tusker House for him.. We are all very excited to eat with The Ducks and DH gets his goofy
Now Emma wants to eat with all of them! So cute, but we all know that cant happen. So of course she wants the princesses!!! Now I am confident (although I didnt try) that we could have eaten in the castle, I settled on the Storybook Lunch at Epcot. Now if we HAD been on the DDP , you can bet we would be eating at the castle! At first I booked it for all of us, then I decieded to cut some costs and asked my son and DH if they really wanted to eat with the princesees too?? Of course Joey was like No way mom, not if we dont have to ok problem solved. It would be me and the girls and the boys will do there own thing for lunch.
Now last time we went, we ate at CP which was so nice. Since Lauren and Joey remembered that and loved it, that is what they picked. Great b/c that is my choice as well

Infact first thing this morning I was like 3 weeks today we will be at disney!!! but then my hubby was quick to say yeah, but in 4 weeks we'll be back home
Then, I find myself doing math in my head to see what it will cost to get to WDW!
