Party of 12

will a party of 12 every be seated together at TS restaurants? Extended family is going to Disney so 6 adults and 6 kids but I've been warned that we probably won't ever be seated together! Seems like a waste to book all meals together if we won't even be seated together...are there places that most likely could accommodate a big party vs places that definitely could not??

When we went we were seated together for almost all meals. Crystal Palace we had 2 tables next to each other they were round tables, We think it worked out very well. We liked it better than one big one we had at Chef Mickeys. CS meals we would sit as close as we could.

I think it depends on what you called "seated together". Sometimes a restaurant can push tables together to make a long table. Other times they can have two tables next to each other. WE have had up to 10 and have been together at times, and seated at two tables other times.

I don't mind having two tables next to each other...just don't want to be seated across the restaurant from the other table!

It depends where, what time, availability, etc. It will vary. You may be across the restaurant in some situations.

I think they use that wording so that if they don't have a table that is big enough or are having difficulties getting tables next to each other they are covered. However, we usually travel as a party of 8. The only time I can recall NOT being seated at the same table is at Beaches and Cream where they don't have any tables that are large enough to accommodate a party larger than 6. Even then, we were put at a booth and a table that were adjacent to each other. So while I would not rule out the possibility of being seated across the restaurant, in my experience it is not likely.

What reservations are you looking at making? Having that information may help us provide more insight.
