Party of 12 and ADR's ?

We'll be a party of twelve next summer. Do you think we'll we have any problem getting seating's?

We're going to make seating's for:

Chef Mickey's
Whispering Canyon Cafe
Crystal Palace...breakfast
The Polynesian Luau
Wolfgang Puck Cafe
50's Prime Time or Sci Fi...not sure yet.
LeCellier...this is the one that really concerns me.

yes I think you will run into troubles. The most likely is needing to be split up at other tables.

I'd make sure to call the very first day and immediately upon opening to make your ADRs. That way you'll have the most times to work everything in and be flexible.

They will give you a grand gathering # so when you call to make your ress you just have to give that #. Now most important be on the phone at 7:00 am if it's 90 days they are going to be doing by then then ask them to make sure the EXACT date you can make them and be ready with all your info that morning to call. I had to make reservations for 14 for our trip next month. I called at 180 days and didn't really have any problems. Some are reservation for 10 and some are only for 4, and a couple are for all 14. Some like Le Cellier and PSB I had to book 2 or 3 tables, but most gave me 1 table for all. I had to talk to "Group Dining" that's what they called it, but I'm not sure if that's the official name. I didn't have any issues, but I might have just gotten lucky

I have a party of 12, and we are mostly 2 tables, but they try to put you together, so far 2 visits we have been lucky...

We were a party of 10 and we had no trouble getting ADR's all together. They were going to have to seat us separately at Kona, but they were able to push some tables together so we could sit together.

We are a party of 12 and I've run into no problems with adr's. I haven't been told we would be split into two groups. You do not need to speak to group dining until you have over 15 in the party.

Hello to another fellow Texan can I ask where in Texas or you from. I am from East Texas (near Nacogdoches). I will be part of a grand gathering going to WDW in 4 weeks. My sister made all our ressies and she made then about 90 days out. We were able to get all the ones we wanted, but she was told at some of them we might be seated 8/4 or something like that. I think only two places we could be all 12 and I know one was Ohana's for Breakfast and maybe one more not sure. The following our the list of places we were able to to get for 12. If you call early enough I would not think you would have a problem.

Ohana's BK with Lilo and Stitch

I'm from East Texas, too...near Longview. We lived in Nacogdoches about 11 years ago.

I'm glad to hear you didn't have any problems with your seating. We won't mind splitting up...but hopefully they'll be able to seat us near one another.

Well I am actually from Center which is on Hwy 7 between Nac. and Center it is neat meeting someone who more than likely only lives less than two hours away. Good Luck with your dining

I have been with a party of 11 for many trips, and we have never had any trouble. We were told sometimes that we would be split into 2 or 3 tables, but we always ended up sitting together once we arrived.

We've travelled with big groups pretty frequently and here are my thoughts:

Chef Mickey's: Should not be a problem. You may have two tables next to each other.
Whispering Canyon Cafe: SHould not be a problem. They have large tables and/or can push a couple together.
Crystal Palace: Should not be a problem. They can seat large groups together in the center section of the restaurant.
The Polynesian Luau: Haven't been there, so I can't comment.
Wolfgang Puck Cafe: Haven't been there, so I can't comment.
50's Prime Time or Sci Fi: Prime time has tables that are large enough to accommodate your group. I think at Sci FI you'd wind up at two tables, but they can't push them together due to teh set-up.
LeCellier: You will probably get 2 tables here. They may or may not be able to push them together, depending on how crowded they are. We've done both. Even if the tables aren't attached, they've always been near each other though!

I am reserved for a party of 12 Thanksigiving week. I am eating at all of those places except WPC..did not have any problems or split tables except of Le Cellier. I originally got an 8:00pm..2 tables of 6. I then switched a couple months later to the Candlelight Procession Package. I ended up with 3 tables of 4.
