Party Nights & FP+

Hoping to attend one of the Halloween party nights and wondering whether people arrive at 4pm and have FP+ scheduled? So a 4pm, 5pm and 6pm FP+ because the party starts at 7pm typically correct?

If so are there any rides that you'd recommend? Or what's your favorite ride to go on when it's dark out? On our last trip we left after dinner every day because the kids were melting down and it's been a long long time since I've been in the parks at night!

2. Jungle Cruise, Big Thunder Mtn., Splash Mtn., Aladdin's Carpets.

Yes, I did this last year but it lets you book a FP+ anytime of the day even though you can't get in till 4pm, so my first one started at 3:30-4:30, I also had a one-day ticket (for another day) so I don't know if that makes a difference.
