Party Night Dining Question

Can you still book dining for the Hall and Christmas Parties once tickets are released (ie. possibly May 1st) even though you may be over 180 days out still?

If you mean can you book further out than 180 days if they release the tickets earlier? No.

Anyone will be able to purchase tickets to the parties when they are released.

Dining reservations will still be dependent on when you reach your 180 day mark. Also, typically there will be a notation on the reservation page that any reservations during the party hours will require tickets to the party.

You have to book dining at 180 days. Your dining reservation is not connected at all to your party ticket. However, you must have a party ticket if you have a dining reservation inside the park that begins after the party's start time.

I think I know what they mean. Years ago (I think when ressies could only be made at 90 days out), you were able to make ADR's for MNSSNP nights (not sure about MVMCP) before your 90 days. Does that make sense? LOL

I remember that we did this in 2005. We bought tix for our first MNSSHP when they went on sale in May and were also able to book Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner on our party night even though weren't officially "allowed" to make any dining ressies yet because our 90 day window hadn't opened up yet.

As far as I know, you can't still do that but I'm really not sure. I forgot about it until I saw this thread.

Just to followup I found out that you can book adrs for MK party nights at Tony's and LTT over 180 days. You can only get times for 6:00pm or later though and you have to call (no online).

What about the opposite? If we want an ADR at Liberty Tree on a MNSSHP night, but we are not staying for the party how late can we make our ADR? If we book for 6:30 do we eat and then just have to leave the park or what? THanks!

Yes. You will be escorted out of the park if you leave the restaurant after the party starts.

If you have a reservation at 7 PM or after you must have a ticket to the party.
