So the quests were THAT bad this weekend????

I wasn't able to get on at all this weekend except for about 5 minutes to start one of the quests that I never ended up finishing. My parents put on a race every year (last weekend of April) and we help them doing these like registration and traffic control. I wonder if anybody, on the DIS, who lives in the Sturbridge and Warren area saw bike racers this weekend?? If you did, then that was us (well, not technically US, but he racers who came to our race, lol).

Anyways, it sounds like it was a good thing that I missed the quests this weekend. Was there much chaos? I read on some other threads that pirates was full!!?!?! That hasn't happened since ice cubes, .

OK, I have a party room that I will open at 7:00 pm (though that's a tough call because my beloved Red Sox are playing the dreaded Yankees at 7:00, lol!)

Room is called "Shoes Off, Party On" at 7:00 p.m. until whenever Pink falls asleep (lol)

I will keep the room off friends only at first, but I have to warn you that Pink has a very fast boot finger. If you have a name you don't think I'll recognize, please send it to me in a pm so I will know not to boot you.

I had a love/hate relationship with the quests this weekend. I loved the prizes but hated the wait to get into a pirates game or HM game. I enjoy doing the quests in general and will continue to do player quests. I'm sorry that I missed Jellyrolls quest yesterday.

A funny thing happened when I was doing the Character Counts quest. I was on question 5, entered what I thought was an empty room for Town Square. The typed in the answer for question 6 - Red. A few seconds later I see a message balloon on the screen float up and it says "I'm not Red". It was VMK_Zoo. She thought I was calling her VMK_Red! LOL. I stopped doing the quest and told her that I was doing a quest and that Red was the color of Minnie bow. She then said lol good luck with the quest. Oh and I timed out on the quest so I had to go back 3 questions. Thank goodness it didn't require me to play any game.

If I were to see another quest this weekend I would have been ill. I had to do them for myself, dw and dd6. They drive my wife crazy and my daughter is just to young. I had a choice - give up my prizes or run there characters through.

I was trying to guess the color of pluto’s collar and looked at photos of him online and every picture had a different color collar. LOL

Givin it up to TBM/Pink and all the vmk hunnies (thats how they spell it so I am told) that were there.

For all of you that missed it, it was like American Band Stand meets the Flying Nun (you know the color years) with a hint of gothic Scooby Doo and a twist of Giligans Island.

The lighting was perfect, the music was just right, and the wine went well with the chicken. I wish I could have stayed for desert.

CapeCAD and I had fun during our visit to your party last night, Pink!! I'm sorry we couldn't stay longer. Looks like everyone was having a great time. Great dance floor, too!!


P.S. I agree about the anti-social aspect of the quests, but other than that, I really enjoyed them!
