Ok, this is my dumb question for the week, we will be going to WDW November 10-14, just to attend the F&W festival, the one event that I really want to attend is the party for the senses on Saturday night, I read that you get a plate and a glass when you check in, what do you do with those, I am assuming that they are souvenirs, or do you actually need them to eat and drink. How limited is the seating at the party? I really don't want to stand for 2.5 hours, do we need to rush to get a seat, or do people circulate and plop down when ever they want. Anything else I should know??
I can't wait to get more info and book it.... :flower:

You will need your plate and glass to eat and drink.

the seating is limited. There is a big rush to claim the seats at the beginning.

I don't know for sure, but lets say there are 400 seats with 800-900 people attending.

IMO, if you want to try EVERYTHING, you waste too much time walking back and forth to your table. I fell you do more walking this way. Granted, you are standing for the 2.5 hours but not walking as much.

We just walk around. There are tall tables where you can rest your plate and drink while you eat.

The wine glass is yours to keep, but the plate (with a special notch in it to
help you hold the glass) isn't. The plate is more for putting the smaller
plate samples on it, and I can get about two sample plates on it.

I've had good luck with the "table dash", mostly because I arrive early
enough to be close to the front when it opens, and my friend is tiny
and quick enough to snag a table. ;)

Last year, I saw some bigger tables in the back of the room, so I think
that's probably the best way to grab a table. Or try to share a table
with others, if you've found a four-top with only a couple of people at it.
Unless they're saving the table for two others to join them, they'll probably
share.

It was really easy for me to get "lost" in the venue, often passing by a
sample I want to try on my next "trip", but then forgetting the location
of the sample area. LOL.

All right so all the Dis ers that are going, wear lime green, wear the glow rings, and ribbons... and we can share with each other! K???

:rotfl: I cant wait!! I do hope to meet a Dis er or two!!

There are not alot of tables but there are places to sit. If you get there
early and are with someone else, you will have somewhere to sit. Other-
wise plenty of tables to stand at. 3-4 yrs ago it was where the lunch and
learn is and it was a really tight squeeze.

If you are going on 11/5 to the party of the sense. Would love to meet you.
Can we all get together and arrange something

I would have loved to meet, unfortunately, we are going on the 12.....
