I read a review of Party for the Senses with great interest because my mother and brother are going next weekend and I am helping them plan. It sounds like "staking a claim" to a table and chairs is high priority (they really don't want to/ and can't / stand the entire time). Does anyone know how you "save" your seats when you go to get your food? My brother is mentally handicapped so they can't split up.
Are people likely to be respectful of the fact that someone is already sitting there, or are they likely to lose their seats as soon as they get up to get their food? My mother travels lite and doesn't want to carry stuff like jackets or backpacks to use to "mark" her seats, but will if necessary--but is it likey people will just ignore them anyway and take the seats even if they are marked?
