We are finally back! Sorry for the delay, but now that the excitement of the World Series

is over, we're ready to get back on track and update away.
It's Jen here, and this day will be narrated by me. Enjoy!
We were particularly offended when our alarm beeped and beeped this morning. I hit the snooze button, but the alarm beeped no more after that, so I did not arise until about 15 minutes later when our back-up alarm, Liz's BlackBerry, started yelling at us. This posed quite the dilemma since I am normally the last one ready even with my 15 extra minutes each morning.
When we were finally ready, far later than we intended to be, naturally, we set out for the TTC in hope of some quick transport to the MK to deliver us in time for our 8:05 am Crystal Palace ADR. We knew the GF/ Poly launch didn't begin running until 30 minutes before park opening, so were hoping to hop on to a General Joe to avoid the monorails that had been disappointing us thus far. Well, as you may have predicted, we were outraged to learn that the General Joe and his fellow ships were still in repose at this apparently very early hour of the morning (approx 7:50 am), and that the express monorail was closed for business as well. Seriously? How much does it cost to run the express monorail?
Outraged, as per usual, we reluctantly trudged up the platform for the resort monorail. 15 minutes later, we had arrived at the MK.
We arrived at the entrance right at the time our ADR was for, which wasn't too bad considering how late we'd left and that our transportation options had been atroc. We stopped for a few quick pics on Main Street.
Really, Liz? Way to look pleased to be here.
Then checked in to the CP.
We were called in a few minutes later and escorted to a nice table decorated with confetti.
Much to the surprise and slight horror of Laura, I had indicated that we'd be celebrating her birthday that day. As it was less than a month from this date, I felt fine saying it was her birthday celebration (never said it was her actual birthday), as I've seen some people celebrate their children's birthdays for a whole trip when the birthdays are months away. Anyway, I did it for the CP since I'd seen their adorable table confetti and card signed by the Pooh gang (and knew that it was otherwise low-key, so there was little chance of Laura being completely mortified).
Shortly after our arrival, we had our first visitors – Pooh and then Eeyore.
Don’t know how/ why this pic is terribly blurry!
What? Self portraits are our fav!
Then we went to load up at the buffet. Lovely flower Hundred Acre Woods gang:
