Party at Coach's place... 10/17 Cruise

After finding out the good news of our upgrade, my family and I would like to share our good luck with our DIS friends. We would like to have a little get-together in our cabin sometime during the cruise, preferably the first night after we meet at the sailaway party. Another post had listed about 10 families totaling 30 DIS’ers. I don’t know if the room is THAT big but we’ll try. We would like to do this when it would be good for everyone so if you would reply to this message with your preferences of what time is good for you we, hopefully, can get everyone together.

Oh Coach, how very wonderful for you!!! I hope my teasing didn't goad you into this. I would love to check out your room. What is the room number again?

I also agree that we should do this the first night. Maybe meet there right after the sailaway, or you know, i would even be willing to bypass that in order to come check out your room. Since you are such the gracious host, I think we should let you set the time that will work the best for you and your family!!!

Wow!!! What a good joe! I agree w/ Sue that you set the time....and Roger (dh), Jessi (dd 11) and I will be there! Could we order Room service and split the tip? I'm thinking cheese trays, cookies........anything else?

oh yes, that sounds like a really good idea about cheese trays. Just think, this time next week we will all be getting ready to head over to the port and get on the ship! We should make a tentative time soon as lots of folks are heading out different days.

Just a suggestion but how about moving the original DIS meet to this time if it is going to be right after the sailaway instead of having bascially 2 'meets' back to back? Just a thought. Anyone else?

I've been trying to figure out what time to have our get together.
I think the best time would be right after the lifeboat drill. I believe the drill is at 4:00 p.m. and the Sail Away party starts at 4:45 p.m.. This way we could all go to the Sail Away party together and no one will have a problem on where to meet. How does this sound?

Oh! our room is number 8102. All the way in the back of the ship.
