We went in 2002 and we have a child's park hopper left, but I am not sure how many days are left on it. Is there any way to find out before we get there? Anybody know?

There is no way to find out before you get to WDW. I had mine checked out at the resort..had them from '01 and couldn't remember what was left.

I vaguely remember a few years ago my sister had an old pass and was asking the same question. I know she called WDW info line and was redirected. I am not sure if she was given an answer or not. That's too bad that they couldn't do it over the phone, unless the only way they could do it was by running the magnetic strip through the ocmputer.

You have to go to guest relations. They cannot help you over the phone (which I find ridiculous)

The general consensus is that they stopped taking phone calls about tickets in order to discourage re-sale of partially used tickets, especially on ebay. There is no way to prove you are calling about your own tickets from 2002, or ones you may have just purchased on ebay. Several years ago, they would give out the number of days left using the numbers on the back of the ticket.

Of equally great concern to Disney was the treatment that the park Guest Relations CM's were getting given the fact that people very often misread the numbers on the back of their tickets. They would read a 6 as a zero or a 3 as an 8, etc. The result was the information about remaining admissions they were told about the ticket number they gave over the phone didn't match what they found when they tried to use the tickets at the parks. People became irate and belittled Guest Relations CMs who had nothing to do with it. "I called and they told me that I had this left and you say I don't. What's wrong with you people?" etc etc and much worse.

Hence, no more telephone inquiries permitted.

And NOW, over the PHONE the CM's hear "I used to call and get this information, and now you say I can't. What's wrong with you people?" etc etc and much worse.

;)

But that pales in comparison to the ones standing right in front of you and calling you names you don't hear a sailor use because "so and so said when I called that I had this much left and he's right and you're wrong". :confused3

1) There IS a number to call, but it is not a public number.
2) If you find it, Dan will be glad to halp you.
