Parties of 6- tip and drinks?

Sorry I can't find this answer... I booked reservations for party of 6 (3 for my family, 3 for another, staying in another room).

How will it work when we are charged for the 6 person gratuity? Can our two rooms split that? What if one family orders drinks and the other doesn't? Can that go to their room since they have a separate room reservation?

You just tell your server that you want separate checks. You will only have to pay the gratuity for what your family orders and yes, it can be charged back to your room

You simply tell the server how to divide your check - easiest each trio is seated together at the table vs scattered, although they seem to be able to handle anything! Even though this does make you a "party of 3" for payment, you'll still be charged the automatic gratuity as yiu're seated and served as a party of 6.
