Participation Prize

Please note that as with all the contests in VMK that are partialy external, It may take some time to get your prize. Usually after it is announced it takes between 12 hours and a week to get the prizes. I would not flood them with letters about it untill you give it some time.

Yeah the staff sent out a message about this in game a few minutes ago. I would give it a while.

There is a message popping up in VMK saying that everybody will be receiving there prizes today, but it may take some time due to how many participants there were.

So with "thousands" of the Tomorrowland 8/9 pins being re-released to the ride participants, does that kill it's tradability? Not that it matters to me, too much, I never had the pin until I get it from this Contest. So I'll finally have one of my very own - yay me!

And as I mentioned in another thread... That Red Space suit sure is awesome, but talk about rare... not including Staff, there are only four of those suits in all of VMK.

This makes me so angry- I don't think they realize how much we had to give for those things, and how mad people will be at them. They needed to put new items in... not just a couple new items and a bunch of stuff that were really really rare before... I just became a character that went from rich to poor

There is always that chance when you have beta and extremely rare items. But really, does it matter if you are rich or poor on vmk? The one reason that I am so addicted to vmk and keep coming back is because of all my friends, and they don't care how rich or poor I am. I am thrilled with the pin that I get, and think that vmk chose the winners well. Congrats everyone!

I understand your frustration. My offer for the ATIS Eye Pin isn't worth much now that bat magic and the Christmas items have been rereleased. However, as a person who has given away inferno, a Jack Sparrow outfit, the Tomorrowland 8/9 pin and many other rare items; I suggest you think about something. Having a lot of stuff in VMK is a lot of fun but does it make you a better person? Not at all in my opinion.

Enjoy the game, enjoy the items you have and enjoy the friends you have. Be thankful the dive from rich to poor was only virtual. If you don't understand what I'm talking about, read about The Great Depression and what happened to many rich people.

I think VMK is slowly trying to level the playing field. They have been releasing several rather rare items lately to all players. I think it's their way to give everyone a chance wether new or a day 1 player. That's just my take on it though. OK back to the original topic currently in progress.

I'm kind of glad I did not participate in the ride a thon now. That pin does not seem worth it for all the credits I would have spent.
