Partial transit of Canal!

This is our second time, also on Princess, and through the new locks. I love the ability to get off in Panama and visit and learn about that country. It seems to me Disney should try an itinerary like this at least once, or would the idea bomb?

Unlike other cruise lines that do the partial Panama Canal cruise, Disney only uses the Panama Canal as a repositioning cruise. Maybe the time/cost involved in a partial vs a full transit is more than Disney wants to invest.
