Partial day car rental at WDW?

We're going to WDW for a 2 week trip this summer. We were going to drive but the airfares are temptingly low.....

If we do fly, we'll likely use Tiffany Towncar for airport transfers with a grocery stop on the way to WDW. However, we'll need to go out for groceries 2 other times during our 2 week stay.

Has anyone rented a car on WDW property for a partial day?? How much do you think it would cost?

You will be charged a full day's rental. 24 hours is the minimum rental period. You can certainly bring the car back sooner that that but you will still be charged for a full day.

With no discounts, you can probably get a compact car for about $50/day. If you have a discount (DC, AARP, etc) it will probably be around $40. Car rental fees are like airfares. They are very volatile. What the go for now will probably not be what they go for tomorrow. You can keep watching the prices on the rental car company's web site.
