We've had dinner at Jiko. It's lovely. And has more activities for adults and kids than any other resort. There's always something interesting going on. Th decor and attention to detail are phenomenal.if you google the resort you'll find sites with better pics. Plus we love the food options.
The one thing you can tell from pics - it's dark. They keep the lights intentionally low. I've read that people bring lighted make-up mirrors. Personally the low light drives me bonkers. Another reason for the split stay. But it didn't bother the rest of the family at all. I may take some kind of small light though.
We splurged for Savannah view but there are so many public viewing areas that I don't think you'd miss it. The only thing I'd suggest is make sure you have time in your plan to really enjoy the resort. This is not just a place to sleep.

Oh, and I ordered binoculars and night vision goggles from Amazon this week.
