Agreed - or Iwould have to eat everything so it doesn't go to waste (or waist)
:rotfl2:

Mine goes to butt!
But seriously I have been really good about losing weight this past month and I know that I will be hurting already with the rich foods at BOG and anywhere else at WDW already.

I think work is going to be slow today, so I'm not sure what to do. Oh, wait...I know! Hang out here!

I really don't have any planning left to do, though. Whomp.

Good morning!!!!

Talked to DH last night about the trip. I asked if he wanted to go to Gatorland or the beach. He said, dont you remember last year and Sea World? I said, well that was our last day, maybe a day in the middle would be better. He said, nope. We are going into the bubble on the 15th and leaving the bubble on the 22nd. If we need a break we can hang out at the resort. Well, ok then.

Also brought up the WCC ADR and dessert party. He said keep the later ADR. You will need a nap if you want to stay up past 11 (which is totally true).

So my two issues from yesterday are settled. What can we come up with today?? ;)

I think it is a great idea to hang out at the resort. What about resort hopping or is that in the plan already?

Hmmm.....how about souvenirs? Do you know what souvenirs you want to get?

Ah, but we all need friendly advice, comments, a sympathetic ear, etc. That should fill up your time nicely. :)

Oh yes, we will be resort hopping. I have ADRs at WL, AKL and Poly, and we are doing the mini golf at the Boardwalk so I can see BW and BC/YC. I have to trick DH into resort hopping. :) I think we will be at the resort more this trip. Last year we were offsite and it was DB's first trip so we were trying to cram in everything we could in the parks. We should be able to go a little slower this year.

Well that's good he is getting help with the weight loss, but yes annoying for you. ;) Make sure he orders something different than you so you can try his leftovers.

I'll probably be too full to try his leftovers. But I just might pull the "I'm not hungry, I'll pick" card, lol.

I talked to DH too...sigh.. We have Sea World San Antonio 2 hours away so Sea World isn't very attracting for us. I did mention Gatorland and the beach, but he said, "stop wasting money." :sad1: Oh, well I gave it a shot. He doesn't know I booked the dessert party.. buahahahaha!! :stir: I'm not sure what kind of trouble we can get into today, though.

Oh! has anyone done the sleigh rides @ FWL??

People on the FB page were talking about the sleigh rides. But you are supposed to stop spending money. LOL

I have nearly all our planning done (except some touring strategies).

This is the one dining choice I am still torn about. We are staying at BCV. We will be going to Osborne lights in the evening. I want to aim to see the lights while Fantasmic (6:30) is going on.

Three options----

1. Kouzzina at opening 5, and then drive or boat it over to DHS. We like greek food. Though I hear service can be slow. Never been so could be fun to try new place.

2. Mama Melrose just before 5. I hear mixed reviews about food and service. We like good Italian food. I hear it can take a long time to be seated. Never been.

3. 50s Prime Time. We have eaten here before and enjoyed it. Can sit at 5:20. I don't remember a long wait to sit or to be served.

HELP!!!! :confused3:confused3 We are going with our 2 year old.

I was paid in full...until I made changes. I have thought about paying all week, but havent yet. I guess I may as well hang onto my money as long as possible.

Changing ADRs doesnt affect your payment at all. LOL

I guess I just don't get the whole "paying off early". Saving the money to pay for it, sure. But I don't want to give Disney my money any sooner than I have to.

Which resort are you at?

I wanted to do Kouzzina but hubby wasn't interested. We are doing 50's Prime Time on our Osbourne Lights night but we're doing it late, after the second Fantasmic......it might be too late though.....maybe I should be looking at earlier ADRs too !

We went to Kouzzina last year with a 4:30 ADR, it was a slow start but once we got in 4:45 or so it was pretty quick. We had our 2 year old, my friends 2.5 year old and my 10 week old. The food was good and the kids enjoyed it. They liked the open kitchen and random "Opa!"(spelling??) shouting. I haven't been to the other 2 in ages.... However I do think Kouzzina is great - I actually had an ADR here but opted for HDDR this trip for my mom.

I vote for Kouzzina strictly based on the food. I really wanted to eat there but decided it was a bit too far out of DH's comfort zone. You could tell the server your plans so they can speed up the process a bit, maybe.

I have heard bad things about getting seated at MM's too, but that early maybe it wouldnt be as big of a problem. That menu just doesnt appeal to me. Going to Tutto for our Italian fix.

50's PT seems like it would take longer with all the antics, but you would already be in the park. No idea how close it is to the lights.

Yep I vote Kouzzina. Plus it is a new restaurant for you.

HA!! Can we ditch our husbands and eat at Kouzzina together???

Hmmm.....how about souvenirs? Do you know what souvenirs you want to get?

Ha! Good idea...

- a pearl from Japan in Epcot for sure.
- a shirt of some sort
- a MVMCP pin
- an AoA pin (if I see a cute one)
- a xmas ornament (for my mom)

I think that might be all. I don't tend to buy much (aside from food!) when I'm at WDW. I know my partner will be trading vinylmations and maybe buying a few, and probably getting a stuffed animal of some sort.

Ah, but we all need friendly advice, comments, a sympathetic ear, etc. That should fill up your time nicely. :)

True!

We liked the food at Kouzzina and service was fine. It's a 20 minute walk tops. Boat is slower. I guess it depends on how long it generally takes you to eat. I generally allow 2 hours for most sit-downs before we have to be anywher, but that's because we tend to eat slow, enjoy the wine, etc.

True. But it is a nice feeling to see that $0 balance. :thumbsup2

Well since I have been addicted to Disney Store online lately, I told DH to not let me buy any shirts. And I pre-bought my Christmas ornament.

So my list is:
Pick a Pearl
something from MVMCP
coffee mug
magnet

And then some maybes.
picture frame-got a 2011 one last year, but had a lot of trouble finding one I liked
antenna topper?
people with Mickey ear window decals?

Somehow I think I will come home with something not on the list as well. DH will buy a hat. That is all he ever buys.
