Thanks guys. I was over 100 lbs overweight. And being short doesn't help. I knew all the walking that's done in Disney would affect my vacation, so I went on a diet and found motivation to eventually lose it all. I did Insanity for about 2 months it was awesome,I need to start again.

Congrats on the weight loss! I have lost 45 lbs so far and have 10 lbs left that I want to lose before I go on m y trip. I've been doing pretty well with it, despite having asthma that limits my exercise options. :goodvibes

Congrats!! Best motivation ever! Walking Disney with extra lbs to drag around is hard.

So happy!!! I just called Southwest to cancel my brother's flight. Ok that part is sad. BUT...I used rewards points and thought he would have to use those points on a future flight. I was wrong! That is only if you pay for a flight. My points just go back into my rewards account. Another reason to go to Disney next year!!!

AND started back to WW last week. So today was the first weigh-in. Lost 4.8 pounds!!! :cheer2:

Two pieces of great news! :)

Just a suggestion - one trip DS bought a bunch of Legos, large but light. So we shipped those and some other clothes and souvenirs back in a box. Now we do it every time. Cost around $10 to ship. You can buy boxes and ship from the resorts with conference centers -BWV and Dolphin have them for sure.

I'm surprised at the cost (thought it would be more). What's the method of shipping that you do?

You almost need to get the sesame place season pass to make it worth going, a one day ticket is so expensive. We took my oldest son in 2009, and I was pregnant (just didn't know it) so it wasn't the best day. Would love to take my boys again sometime.

Love Christmas in NYC, it's on my bucket list to go Thanksgiving eve to see the balloons blown up. DH and I usually do a day trip to NYC for our anniversary, but not this year since we'll be in WDW

We lived in Levittown 1992-1997. My boys were very young then and they LOVED Seseme Place! We had season's passes. Oh the wonderful memories - except for the visit where I fracured my tailbone in Tweedle Bug Land!!

Awesome...I have it and never used it. It scares me. I'm a woman of a "certain age" and weight is hard to lose, plus I'm insulin resistant. I know I need to do it. I feel yucky.

Do you use DIS and photobucket apps or go through safari/Internet? I've been DISing mostly on my phone and wasn't sure what I needed to do to post pics. I suppose I could go onto safari and copy and paste the links ???

I did it straight from the apps. Got my img code, copied and pasted it here!! It was a highlight of my day...

Amazing job! I have heard Insanity was a crazy hard program so big time kudos to you! I would like to lose maybe 20 pounds and my problem with loving cupcakes won't make it easy!

I heard the very furry Christmas was cute. We usually do the Christmas Candylane in Hershey and my kids love that. All the rides (except the coasters and water rides) are open and it looks so pretty all lit up. And for $13 per person is a great price.

I love Rockefeller Center, it's beautiful. I love watching the ice skaters. The window displays are amazing. We always come in on the train and our first stop is breakfast at Chelsea Market

All this NYC Xmas talk makes me miss home... I haven't been to NJ/NY since 2010....

I just came to the astounding realization that I'm OK with my ADRs. I definitely have a ton I will need to cancel, but I don't need to move or add anything. :scared1: Once the park hours are updated closer to December, I'll be able to figure out when we'll do rope drop / breakfast at 'Ohana. Other than that, we're pretty much set. Wow.

Any suggestions on what to do/where to go on a free day in Florida? We will have a car so I don't mind driving no more than 2 hours away from DW. Appreciate any suggestions!
