With all this car talk I'm now wondering is Disney transportation might not be the best choice for us. It's just DH and I, no kids/strollers/diaper bags. DH drives for a living and I'm sure he would love to park the car as soon as we get there. Especially since we are driving there.
We've always used Disney transportation. LOVE IT!!!!! We fly down, use ME, then busses, boats & monorails
Wonderful, stress free, Disney AWESOMENESS :cloud9:

Hello everyone, I have been busy with classes so far woohoo, I have to say I am sticking to no cars, but if anybody is interested Hotwire had my 5 days at 133 that was with tax but for a compact. I agree with many people and since my hubby always drives we want to give home a break plus we can budget the money for cabs so if we don't wanna wait for transportation we grab a cab. Also since we are not bringing my babies, we will be drinking, and we never drink and drive. But they did have a segment on twenty twenty last week about drinking and walking is pretty dangerous too lol. Well hope everyone is looking forward to the weekend I definitely am one.

75 days woohoo!!!

Yay!! DH's new job was fine with us going away!! So the trip is 100% officially back on as planned!!!

Hugh sigh of relief on every front possible. PHEW!

I was trying to talk my plans out with my brother and he said I don't care about Disney or what we do in Disney, so please go tell your friends on the computer...so hi :wave2:

I was trying to talk to DH about booking a bounce back for Oct. He wouldn't discuss it. Not that he didn't want me to do it. He just didn't want to talk about it. ;)

Gotta update my resort info! We managed to snag the 10-13 at BLT, with the remaining 4 nights (13-17) at SSR. SO EXCITED!!! :woohoo

They had no choice anyway. I had it all planned out. I was gonna KIDNAP your husband, right in front of their eyes. Then they would all be 'Poor Mr Tofubeast', he would have the sympathy vote, he could tell them how awful it was being kidnapped and his colleagues would just be thankful he was back in one piece, his job would be secure.

See. I'm full of really bright ideas ::yes::

Sitting here watching Keith (DS) playing Xbox starwars and trying to figure out what weekend would be the best to visit Disney for SWW. Has anybody been and can you give me any suggestions. Yes trying to work another trip in.:cool1: Must take advantage of AP.

That's on my bucket list. I would have to just suck it up and bear the crowds though.

We are planning to go the first full week of June! Never been to SWW before, but it sounds fun. The crazy thing is that we will have to make our ADRs when we are on our December trip!

Then to get the full advantage of the AP, we are hoping to go back again for MNSSHP in October. So I'm working on planning 3 trips right now.

How many people are in your party? ;) Seriously we're the kind of family that orders everything and passes it around. Why try one dish, when you can try four. ;)
we always share desserts and snacks that way we get more and we don't throw anything away.

Thanks for compiling all this BTW. When people ask for holiday info, I send them here. It's the most comprehensive Disney holiday info on the Internet. :)
thank you for marking these pages, the hints will be great to read through closer to the trip. I won't remember any of them if I read them in September.

Sokerfrog great minds think alike also trying to get as many trips in as possible with AP so also planning an Oct trip. Would love to go in June that way the kids won't miss school but just worried abou the crowd. But I think no matter what weekend it is going to be crowded.

Ooh. Just found this today! :wave2: We are set for Dec 5th through 16th though we are going to shave a few days off the back. Our current plan is 2 nights at Coronado, 2 nights onsite at US (hotel undecided at this point) and then at least 4 nights at Beach Club.

We tried to do an early dec trip last year and were only in Disney for 4 hours when we had to rush home when we got a call that a family member was in the ICU (he died a few days later). Disney was wonderful to us, the airlines- not so much. So here's to an uneventful december trip this year! pixiedust:

Your trip sounds wonderful! We are staying our first night 12/8 at Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Islands of Adventure. That way we'll get early admission to IOA on the next day (sunday), which is supposed to be a low crowd day :)
