Haha. I know, I know. I wouldn't be surprised. We're both at a point where it somewhat makes sense. The only thing is, she's still in school at OSU, while I'm at school in Cleveland (roughly 2.5 hours away). And we're not sure if we want to start with long distance. But...she's a senior, so she'll be graduating in May. And she thinks she's going to live at home for a while after graduating. And home would only be 30 minutes from me.

I'm so excited for you :rotfl:

LOL. Still POP. I was thisclose to switching to WL, but we decided to save the money and get it paid off today.

I was the same way for our first night, room-only pre-package deal....we're staying at POR and I was "this close" to booking WL with our room only discount....but figured it was easier to not have to change resorts.......I will say Wm is gorgeous during the holidays.

Yes WL is beautiful!!! I love that gigantic tree. DH said, just book a dinner there so you can look around and see it. I said, umm already did about 95 days ago. :rotfl2:

We wont be going back for 2-3 years so I plan to save and stay deluxe on that trip. I am fine with POP this year. Baby steps--we stayed offsite last year. :thumbsup2

On to exciting Disney news, I will be paying off our trip this week and ordering out MVMCP tickets and photopass+. I will feel so much better knowing its paid off and all we need I do now is save spending money and Christmas money (I plan to do a lot of Christmas shopping in WDW, and hoping one of those includes a trip for next year).

Still stalking ADRs for a breakfast either at MK or Epcot. If we get it fantastic if not oh well.

Hope everyone had a great weekend

Congrats! It's a great feeling when a vacation is paid for. Our final balance is due by 10/15 so we're getting close.

Bummer on 50's PT!! Did you call T-Rex directly? I have heard that Disney dining only gets some spots and the restaurants has more available. I think Kona will be great! It is my BIL's favorite restaurant on property. DH is kinda picky, but there are several things on the menu that I would like.

No, I haven't called T-Rex directly. I didn't know I could and thought everything had to go through Disney Dining.

My mom and brother are kind of picky as well and I was not sure about Kona (for other reasons besides the type of food). I'm so glad that all of the menus are available online to look at. It makes it so much easier to decide if it will be a place to try or not.

:lovestruc

So are we are definitely going to need a trip report from you!! ::yes::

Disney can be very romantic - one reason it is special for my husband and I is we feel like we fell in love all over again there in 2010.... Hmmmm I have read through a lot of your PTR but I might need to subscribe to it now!!

Valgoof, I can't thank you enough for that suggestion! I called T-Rex and got 4 pm on 11/29! I just cancelled our Planet Hollywood reservation for that day now that we have what we originally wanted. Next step is to try and see if there are any cancellations for 50's.

Eek! Our final payment is due in 35 days! That definitely makes it seem that much closer.

Mickey Mail usually comes about 30 days before your trip, right? There's so much to look forward to!

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good afternoon lol.... Not so close yet but 77 days away from the most awesome Disney vacation ever. I don't know how people book a year or more in advance I would go crazy. I am in the Christmas spirit I was getting out all the fall decorations and Halloween stuff and started opening some Christmas boxes and just looking at them. Aww Christmas so special, I love it. So a question for everyone when do you start to decorate for Christmas, are you decorating this year if your going to Disney? Usually I decorate the weekend after thanks giving having everything done by the beginning of December and take everything down the second week of January, after three kings day.

All my life we have put the tree up on Dec 1st. Everything HAS to be down, every last remnant of Christmas by the 12th night (6th January). My Mum freaks out about that - she is very superstitious, I was brought up with them - so it has rubbed off on me.

When I crack an egg I STILL have to smash the shells into teeny tiny pieces - you know, in case the witches take them and use them to sail to sea so they can sink all the ships.

Exact same arrival day for us!! The kids are starting to get excited (I think the cooler weather has something to do with it) :)

Just officially made my changes. Isnt it funny how the refund for one room will take 5-6 business days, but the charge for the other room showed up instantly? :confused3 Anyway, trip is paid off!!!!! :cool1::banana:

They wouldnt refund my extra MVMCP ticket, so if anyone needs a ticket for 12/18, let me know.

Wish we could buy it off of you, but that is the day we are leaving :(

Got lost for awhile :goodvibes. Can't believe a second thread needed to started.

Been so busy that I haven't even been on the boards lately. I was going to try and rent some points I have and you have to have 50 points in 6 months and for some reason I'm short. I can't believe that. Guess I need to start posting.

2 months until we are getting ready to leave can't wait.

I am a Christmas-aholic myself. I have 2 trees. The main tree in the living room and a smaller 1 in my bedroom (is there any better smell than a real Christmas tree?). When the season is upon us, BDLsgal and I string up the lights in the bushes (have to be colored. White lights just light up the neighborhood, colored lights share the fun), put out the inflatables and hook up the all-important countdown clock. It has become such a tradition that, once mid-November hits, the neighbors across the street tell us that their young children keep asking them when the lights and clock go on?

And Yes, even when we go on vacation, the bushes get their color, the inflatables get blown up, and the kids get to see their countdown clock. In fact, BDLsgal wants to have everything up by Turkey day. That way, once we're done eating, we got nothing to do, but plug them in.

You gotta love a smart woman. :thumbsup2

As for the take down day... Is Memorial Day too late?
