Are the decorations worth the trip to Swan/Dolphin? We plan on Bw/BC on our first day for something nice and easy and have dinner that night at DTD at Raglan Rd. maybe if we have time we'll walk over there too.

OffTopic - just got done this weeks run. Does anyone run/exercise while they are at WDW? I might take that week off since we will be doing so much walking.

The only time I run is for the ice-cream van! No, seriously. I just enjoy my vacation, its only a week and I see all the walking you do a substitute for any works-outs you do normally.

I don't, we walk so much! I suspend point counting at Disney too, hehe.

Looks like we're locked in with 5. My oldest said he is not going, not going to change his mind, that's that! :rolleyes2

Now, I'm holding onto the hope that someone, anyone will cancel their FD package at POR so I can switch to there instead of 2 rooms at Pop. It would save us a little over $600! Fingers crossed! Someone cancel darnit!!!! :crazy2:

On a hugely positive note, I went to the Weight Watchers open house yesterday. I'm down another 1.2 lbs! Woot! I'm only 8 lbs or so from my goal weight! I can do that by our December trip, I think!! :cool1:::yes:::bitelip:

:wish25

 but is it a nice shade of lobster? :p

Well done hubby! You need to watch Robo's youtube vid of his collection. Hold on, let me see if I can find.

*pit pat pit pat pit pat* <<< thats me walking off to find it :rotfl2: ha but now I'm just realising I dont need the sound-effects ... I'm at my computer. Duh! OK. Back in a min :p

Watch this :)

Hubby said I should get out in the sun more, I look better this way. Not sure how to take that. :confused3

Love the video. I was showing DH and had to explain Robo's awesomeness.

Thanks for posting Robo's video. I just kept thinking that DH would kill me if I attempted to do that in our living room! Lol

I think it depends on what kind of exercise. My feet always hurt from all the standing but a short run does wonders for my back. (I have a chest harness camera bag thats hard on my lower back.) Pushing the wheelchair helps to. I think if the exercise loosens you up and makes you feel better then go for it. But if you're just fatigued and exercise will make it worse then pass.

DH usually hits the hotel gym to use weights/do a bit of cardio and stretching when we go to DLR, but I suspect he ends up spending a lot of time in the sauna ...;) And I know he doesn't spend any time on the treadmill when we're there. He doesn't go to the gym at home, he just runs and swims but he likes having the equipment available and using it since our dues pay for it with DVC.

Is this too good to be true?

The seller has perfect feedback with 650+ reviews. What am I missing?

They are the keepsake they give kids who just miss being tall enough to get on one of the rides. They get to come back on their next trip and use it as a fastpass. So yes, that would require having a child with you since you have to lie and say your kid is the one who just missed on your last trip.

Oooh. We have 3 kids that qualify for this my friends DS4 who is just 40", my DS6 who is now just 43", plus her DD 7 who is getting near 48". I may talk to her about snapping that up, though I don't like lying about it not being our first visit, especially since our kids are the type they might spill the beans since they're all pretty loquacious.

Just FYI, Levenhopper mentioned this on the TPAS board and lots of people commented about how they shouldnt be sold or bought. Someone even said they reported it to Disney legal.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm not sure its worth $85 for 5 FPs anyways ... tempting though.

We have decided to change resorts and dates for this trip. We have an exta long break after Christmas this year and dh was able to take the extra days off too!

So now we are booked at Port Orleans Riverside Dec 31-Jan 5, plus we are bringing youngest dd's friend!

I was shocked at the reaction I got. I didn't mean to start an uproar...

Valgoof - Think of the bright side to becoming a lobster: it'll make for a good tan in a few days!

I'm watching Swiss Family Robinson. Just in case I'm bored in MK and venture through the treehouse lol my "to watch list before Disney" is getting smaller and smaller!

Also, it dawned on me that I have about only 60 days before our mickey mail arrives! Yipee!

Sorry, too lazy to quote. Ksromack--I agree with the others, dont do DTD on Monday 12/10. If you really want to see AKL, you could do it that day. Would be a lot of bus time, but you have a couple hours. Boat back to MK and bus to AKL. Then figure out how to get to BW. My DH would say go straight to the Boardwalk and play mini golf. :rotfl:
I may do just that. I think we will skip AKL altogether. I need to get it through my head that we just may not be able to do everything!
Terri-I didnt think about the Swolphin having decorations. Planned on seeing BC and BW, will have to check them out too.
So maybe we'll take bus from DTD and get off at the Swan....then walk to Boardwalk. That's a doable walk, isn't it? Of course, that puts us back at DTD. Here's the problem.....I haven't allotted the proper time for DTD and I really really want to make sure we get out there. I have counter services lunches in which to partake :rotfl2: Does anyone know what time the first boat takes off from POR to DTD? I could possibly do that on our last day and skip the idea of hitting any parks that we feel we need one last look of. That might make for a more relaxing morning/early afternoon.
:offtopic: Went to the Buckeye game yesterday, sat in direct sunlight for 4.5 hours with no sunblock. Just call me lobster girl. But in other news, hubby finally got someone out to fix the wi-fi, so now I can watch videos on the ipad without worrying about the data. Yay!!
Oh, that game was a nail-biter. So was MY alma mater.....Mizzou. I think everything wants to think we are not SEC worthy so it was good to get our first SEC win! Both of our games were close ones!:crazy2:

I've noticed that people do tend to get their sensibilities offended very easily on these boards ... don't take it personally.

I was waiting for your response on that. Yikes! It's okay, gives people something to talk about over there. :)

True. I do generally tan, not peel. I am just in the sun so rarely, it was a bit surprising.

Yes. That is a hard thing to remember-you cant do everything!!

Definitely a nail biter! Congrats on Mizzou's win too! :thumbsup2

DD and I did something similar last year - we made a list of all the Disney movies we own and tried to watch as many as we could in the 3 months leading up to our trip
