Would love to see it - can you link us to a piccie?

I second this motion. :) I just got a Kippling bag that converts from a crossbody bag to a :::gasp::: hip pack. :rolleyes2 But it's too small to fit my dSLR. Now I'm still stuck having to carry around my camera bag :worried: I spent a lot on that silly Kippling bag now I'm thinking I would have been better off getting something bigger. You can ride most rides at WDW with a bag, can't you?

After all the scrapbooking talk here a couple weeks ago, I was inspired to pull out my son's autograph album again.

Awesome book, Terri! Is that a 6x6" American Crafts binder? I wish I had little ones to get autographs. lol.......

So I finally decided to split it into two volumes. Volume one includes Mickey & Pals, Pooh & Friends and Princesses. Volume 2 is everybody else. I covered both volumes and brought Volume 1 up-to-date. I still need to finish Volume 2. And I'm thinking about adding some date stickers to some of the photos just for frame of reference.

That is so cute, I have to start planning all these little details for our first family trip to Disney next year.

whoa whoa whoa... hoping the weather isnt too hot for long sleeves!? thats blasphemy! Im hoping it isnt too cold for short sleeves!

This is me right now:
:worship::sunny:
"please let me go to the waterpark... please let me go to the waterpark oh beautiful sun"
I'm hoping to go to Blizzard Beach, too. And I will be snorkeling in the lagoon at Castaway Cay, even if its freezing (although the Caribbean in winter is supposed to be the same temp as the Pacific is here all the time, so I don't need to worry too much about that). Want to see those sunken Mickeys .... I can see coral and fish at home, but nothing Disney under the water here. ;)

I'm definitely not bringing the winter parka from my years in Michigan/currently used as a ski jacket. Just taking a few turtlenecks in case, and a short leather coat to keep the wind off (probably a mid-weight jacket as well that I use in NorCal for the plane ride), and our driving gloves. If I need 'em, great, if not, oh well. I'll probably have daytime clothes (midweight short sleeves and jeans) and nighttime clothes (long sleeves, jeans, and light jacket) anyways. Love the in-unit washer/dryer for not over packing.

Finally found a decent car rental rate on Dollar for the 8 days I wanted a car! Though I may switch if its closer that was the last reservation I "need". Now December has to hurry up and get here.

I couldn't put a photo in but I think the link above worked. My DSLR will fit :-)

You can ride everything with a bag. Some fit into a pocket on the ride. Some you can just wear it. And others I put it on the floor and wrap the straps around my legs

I've never heard of any rides at Disney you can't ride with a bag. Rides like RNR might be hard to get the harness down if the bag was too big or in a bad position, but the car has a pouch to secure your stuff. As long as the bag wasn't huge I can't imagine it being an issue.

I use a chest-harness for my Lowepro camera bag. It holds my DSLR and an extra lens, so it's not tiny by any means. And it's attached to my chest, so it's not particularly discreet either. ;) RNR is the only ride I can remember having any issues with in terms of the harness, and I just kind of pushed it to the side. Certainly no CM has ever said anything about it.

Yes, it's AC. I love their albums. Though I find that the pages sometimes slip out of the page protectors.

And I should mention that not all the autographs in the book are for DS. ;-) DSis and I have gotten a fair number of autographs. Hence all the Princess pics. :goodvibes One of our favorite souvenirs - I got DSis a Beauty & the Beast story book. And she's been collecting Belle signatures in it. Makes for some great character interactions. Hoping to get Gaston on the next trip.

That is such a great idea. We need to start doing that. What have you watched/eaten so far?

We've been doing the dinner & movie nights for close to a year already.

Off the top of my head I recall...
Lilo & Stitch - Polynesian meal
Mulan - Homemade Chinese food
Tangled - Angel "hair" pasta, braided scali rolls
Lion King - Steak, Pride Rock baked potatoes, savannah salad, Rafiki's banana pudding
Parent Trap (original) - Camping food (including S'mores for dessert)
3 Caballeros - Mexican food
Snow White - Brats, German potato salad, apple crisp
101 Dalmations - Hot dogs, choc chip cookies
Aladdin - Chicken tangine, couscous, pita chips/hummus, Raja's tiger cookies
Black Cauldron - Stew, cornbread, Gurgi's apple crisp
Sword and the Stone - Meatballs w/ various dipping sauces (we used plastic toothpick swords), cheese cubes, bread loaf to rip pieces off, Jello jewels
Pirates of Carrib - BBQ ckn legs (cant remember what else?)
Peter Pan - Pirate ship pizzas, fruit sword skewers, pirate cupcakes

Thats just a few. I have all of them on my PTR (some pics) if you want to check them out.

No way! Looks like we will be there at the same time =D

Yea! Cant wait!

So cute! That album and size is perfect for autographs. I went through my supplies this week and put aside paper that will probably be good for Disney pictures. October Afternoon had both a space theme and cowboy theme that I think would work well with Tomorrowland/future world and Frontierland pictures.

I've missed so much in a few days! I also slipped into double digits without noticing...we are 98 days from departure; I guess I'm one of the last :) Here's my double digit dance!

Woohoo! That's the best....when you've hit a milestone and been too busy to notice! I don't suppose many of us would be so lucky to have that happen these next couple/few months!

Wow!! Great meals! We did brats and apple/onion sauerkraut, soft pretzels and apple pie, for Snow White. Then movie night turned into pizza, popcorn and a treat. Just not enough time right now. :D
