I saw these the other day. I really like them... trying to focus on Christmas though and getting us some holiday red & green shirts... but they do keep calling to me... maybe just one![]()
WedgieSock said:We have a full itinerary - we are all about the parks. All our ADRs for this trip (we're only there for 6 nights booooo) are in the parks.
We don't really have the time in our schedule to resort hop for Christmas decorations so I decided to just pick one, the one we wanted to see most - Grand Floridian.
So here's my question. On our MVMCP day we will be in MK all day so I figured we could go to GF in the morning before the park. Should I park up at MK and go via the monorail or should I just drive directly to GF?
But these you could wear on other trips, not just around Christmas. And they don't scream Disney. Which one is your favorite?

BDL said:Our last trip, we each had 1 big bag (BDLsgal-suitcase, me-duffle) and 1 carry-on + a laptop bag. But here is where I got creative. Inside BDLsgal's bag, I had folded up and packed a hockey bag. Worn dirty clothes never folds as nice and neat as their clean counterparts. And I knew we'd be coming back with at least a few gifts and souvenoirs. Plus, an overweight bag was +$50, where an additional bag +$30.
All told, we went down with < 100 lbs of luggage, on our return, > 135 lbs.
Now you're just trying get us to agree that it is a practical purchase like any other regular piece of every day clothing .... put the credit card away![]()

Very good point!
I'm torn. I'm leaning toward UK, but also considering China, Mexico & Canada

It feels like forever since I've been on the DIS! I missed y'all!
October: This weekend I'm going to Columbus to see the Buckeye/Cornhusker game, next weekend our AHL team opens their season with games Friday and Saturday, and then I'm seeing a concerts Saturday and Monday night. After that, I'm working nine straight days (fall break week) since the circus is in town (so I'll be working as part of the medical team for that). The last weekend in October has me working on Friday night, and maybe going to Halloweekends on Saturday (at Cedar Point).
November: The first weekend I'll either be home studying, or attending a bat-mitzvah in Portland, ME. The next weekend Beauty and the Beast comes to Playhouse Square (our major preforming arts center). The weekend after that, there are back to back events I'll be working (NBA on Friday, AHL on Saturday). That takes me to Thanksgiving break (and my birthday), which will partially be spend with family in Columbus, partly in Cleveland.
December: The first week is my last week of class, and the first weekend has NBA and AHL games on Saturday, which will be a *long* day at work. The second week of December is finals week, and I also have tickets to the Carrie Underwood concert in Columbus on the 11th. After that, we leave on the 14th!
Wow. That's busier than I thought....

I was going to say park like normal and ride the monorail. But what time does the resort monorail start running? CR had some kind of decoration too. I cant remember what. We didnt go to the Poly for some reason. But GF is the one to see if you have to pick one. It might be a nice break during the day too and would get you off your feet for a few minutes.
We are similarly trying to see at least some of the resorts. I booked breakfast ADR pre-park-opening at Poly and we'll stop at GF on our way to MK.
Now, we don't drive at wdw, but if parking at GF meant I would need to move my car after, I would park in MK parking and then hop onto the resort monorail to GF when the tram dumped us at TTC. I think that would get you to the MK faster: more park time =![]()
I think you might encounter some issues with parking at GF. When parking at MK, you park in the Ticket and Transportation Center. You have to take the monorail or ferry anyway to get to the park. So just hop on the monorail and see GF, then hop back on and head to MK!![]()

I went to Disney Store online last night for shirts and of course the one I wanted they had in every size EXCEPT medium, ugh! I wanted to get DH and I the "I'll be your Minnie" "I'll be your Mickey" shirts. Hopefully they'll restock. Also I think today is the free shipping over $75 (SHIPTODAY)
