I'm a counselor at a university and have summers off. I'm thinking about getting a part-time job over the summer to supplement my income (and avoid being too bored/lazy over the summer). I've had some friends suggest various jobs - being a driver for a driver's education company, working at Kohl's, working as a travel agent (would require getting a license, though, right?), the Disney Store, teaching courses as an adjunct prof at University of Phoenix online or a local community college (although I've tried probably 6 times to get into UoP and they keep turning me down - I'm hoping the course I'm teaching at my university this coming spring will beef up my resume and help me score a job with UoP down the road).
I'm wondering what part-times jobs anyone here might have to supplement their full-time income. I'm looking for some good ideas.
Also, just out of curiosity, does anyone knows what stores like Kohl's pay part-time employees? I know it will vary depending your region (I'm in Ohio about 30 minutes from Dayton and 60 from Cincinnati).
