NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! Don't do it!!!!! Think of all the shirts AT WDW you won't be able to take home with you if you keep buying shirts now - and they will have way more and way cuter ornaments at WDW too. You've got less than 50 days to wait for your trip - YOU CAN HOLD OUT ON DISNEY SHOPPING UNTIL THEN!!!!!!![]()
Perhaps we can start a new thread for Shopaholics. After I saw someone's comment about Old Navy having a cute Mikey shirt and 25% off, I got on there and ordered 2 Minnie shirts for my dd's (and a couple of sweaters for myself) and now I have several things in my cart at the Disney store. I am leaving them in my cart for now and see if I still really want them in a couple of hours!

Here's a pic of my little guys before headed out to the Zoo's Halloween party
And then here's a pic of the kids once we got there. All this did was further excite me about this surprise trip. It even got my DH excited, so up until then was just going with the flow.
My son is on the autistic spectrum (we are in the process of having him tested for Aspergers) and usually is very shy and wants to just hang out in the stroller. Something about this Buzz Lightyear costume has him totally coming out of his shell. He even got on stage and participated in a costume contest yesterday and won 1st place.
Sorry for the long "proud mommy" moment, but I just feel like a lil Disney magic is already happening here![]()

It is pretty windy now and raining harder, but the worst isn't expected here until 5-6pm, and will last about 12 hours. Winds of 60 mph, gusts up to 110 mph possible, and extremely heavy, flash-flood causing, rains. I'm safe and sound inside now, and don't have any reason to leave until Wednesday!
I'm even heavy one extra cat. Actually, a 4 week old kitten!A woman found him in a box in her apartment complex late last night, and no one knew where he came from. She can't keep him (absolutely no pets of any type allowed there) so she took him to the local vet this morning to ask if they knew where she could take him. They happen to be my vet and know I foster, so they called. Picked him up around 10:30am and decided his name is Hurricane!
He is sweet as can be, not afraid of the dog or other cats, though he is being kept separated from them for now since he is itty bitty (fits in my hand) and needs kitten food only. Here is a pic of him!
He has a slight limp in his front right leg that the vet thinks is just a minor pulled muscle, but otherwise seems completely healthy. And he is eating great already. So glad he was found and is not out in this horrible weather!
Stay safe everyone on the East Coast, and everyone else, happy Monday to you!

I wish my DS10 would make pancakes. We had a big breakfast too, while we still can. I've been finishing up dishes this morning. I had a sink full if dirty dishes during the last outage. (No power = no water.) Yuck. Hoping to squeeze in another load of laundry but I think I used all the hot water.
Wind is definitely picking up. We're supposed to get the worst starting around 6pm.

Thanks everyone, he knows he is cute too! Technically since he is so young he shouldn't be around the other cats since his immune system isn't fully formed yet, even with them being heathy. However, he is very lonely in his crate alone, so he is currently curled up under a towel on my lap. I had to give him a bath since he was kind of dirty, and I don't want him wet and cold all alone in his crate!
I've fostered literally hundreds of cats. In the past 5 years it's been about 300, mostly kittens but a couple dozen cats in there too. I have a 6 month old foster right now too that my aunt found on 4th of July (her name is Firework). She is taking some time as she loves other cats, but is very skittish still with people. She is getting better though and does allow pets as long as you are sitting still and she approaches you.![]()
