My cat lived to be in her early 20's also!

OMG, all these "... my cat lived til well after I was dead" stories are making me

I have two cats that I actually invited in. I have a third one who has lived on our deck since 2005 but is now not too well so we have had to bring him in (or maybe he's faking :confused3) and I'm sure over the years more strays will come our way or abandoned kittens .... and they are all gonna live forever!!

I'm gonna need one of these

Just in case anyone was wondering, I did not order anything today. I decided I really only wanted the holiday Mickey and Minnie. Didnt think they would sell out, so I thought I would wait and see if anything else comes out. Told DH about them and he just shook his head like I was crazy. No idea where he gets that idea. :confused3

DHs just don't get it.

We are lucky, we live about an hour from Forest Service land that's been previously logged, so we go buy a tag from the ranger station for $5, drive up to the mountains and walk around until we find our own. They never look as good as tree farm or artificial trees- kind of always look like Charlie Brown trees to be honest, but it's a family tradition since my Dad was little.

That sounds like an awesome tradition!

I'm sorry your little hoofies hurt. Hope you're all healed up for Disney!:thumbsup2

I hope so too. I received a cortisone shot last month for two pinched nerves (neuromas) and b/c of it I got an inflammation in my middle toe and a swelled foot. I've been on anti-inflammatory meds which helped a lot, but didn't heal it completely. My doctor is holding off on the rest of the shots I'm supposed to get until after our vacation and once it's healed.

I've had a cortisone shot in my foot before but have never had this problem :headache:

Me too!! It wasnt Mickey mail, but my new Celebrations magazine came in the mail today. Yay!

That's what I was afraid of! :rotfl2:

Where do you eat the next day? Which night are you doing the dessert party? We are the 17th. I really need a printout of everyone's schedule. :confused3

DP is Wednesday Dec12th. Next morning is Akershus breakfast, San Angel lunch, and Tutto Italian dinner/candlelight processional package. Good news.......I think we're splitting 1 TS at lunch. I'm going to need room for the avocado margarita :)

:rotfl2: The tux up on top looks like a cat I had. His name was Sir Boss. I also see a harlequin cat in there that looks like Sir Boss' sister who is named Timid (and yes, she is timid).

I don't know how to multi-quote on the iPad, so I'll just try to remember what I was going to comment on:

I bought the fleece pull-overs also, just in case. We'll probably need them in the morning and when the sun goes down.

I bought SO MUCH STUFF at The Disney Store today! My husband flipped, but I told him some of them are Christmas presents. Besides the pj's for everybody, I bought:
Minnie Mouse fleece for me
Mickey fleece for DH
3 shirts for DH
2 shirts for me
Duffy in his Santa outfit for DD
My First Christmas Minnie Mouse for my niece
Merida ornament for DD
Perry the Platypus ornament for DS

I can't wait until our package comes! I'm glad I could contribute to the enabling today. :teeth:

:applause: i hope you guys leave something for me :). Jk.... Please buy out the store!

My faciitis (sp) has been acting up ever since I started on the treadmill :(. I got a new pair of New Balance shoes today and some work shoes (Klog brand) that are very comfy. Looks like we should be eating plenty of Ibuprofen :(

All this talk of the Disney store made me remember I had a 25% off coupon. I went digging thru my bag and found out it doesn't start til the 8th though. Grr. I can hold off til then right?

I am also thinking about crocheting each of my kids a Mickey/Minnie ears toboggan for our trip so they can wear them to the MVMCP if it gets cold. If not I can hold on to them for Christmas presents.

Perfect! And let me just say.....until I met my husband (he's from Ohio) I had never heard of anyone calling a hat a toboggan. His whole family does! I'm just a mid-western hick. :lmao:

I'm from Western PA and a toboggan is a sled???

I've tried the Ibuprofen in the beginning and it didn't work. I think it just needs time to heal and for me to be off of my foot for a few days to a week (according to my doctor). Unfortunately, I'm not able to do that.

I have the original Silhouette. I bought it discounted right before the Cameo came out. I haven't used I as much as I would like, but honestly - I live it. And every time I use it I think if more things I could be using it for. I really want to learn to do more, like print and cut. There's a couple of classes I really want to take but for now Im using it and loving it.

I use it on a PC. I wanted one that hooked to the computer and didn't use cartridges, mostly because with my Sizzix, most of my dies were alphas. I wanted a machine that would cut the bazillion fonts I already own. But since then I've actually bought other designs that aren't alphas. Things that I would not have bought for my Sizzix because they're so cheap. For example, I needed to make 3 3-D flowers for school. I found a cutting file in the online store for 99 cents. Even if I never use it again, it was totally worth not having to hand-cut the layers. Plus I can edit or resize anything.

Hmm... Sissy has to cut stuff out for classroom bulletin boards and class projects CONSTANTLY and is always borrowing my old Sizzix (I justified the cost of my top of the line laptop and Adobe CS5 by switching to digital scrap booking, so I don't use my old supplies much anymore). I'm thinking the Silhouette would make an awesome birthday present for kindergarten teacher :) Off to go look up options!
