Just spoke to someone at wdw reservations. Since tomorrowland terrace is being renovated, they are not releasing reservations except on select nights. January is really on hold - rep
Could not say if they will even have the event in January...ugh! My kids love it!

Update on new hairstyle ....

So, after a few mornings of doing it myself I can say that, with a bit of styling gel my hair looks like it did when the hairdresser did it; it takes 3 minutes to blow dry (no brush needed) and 1 minute with the flat irons for the bangs.

Best hair ever

Oh and did I tell you I was going to Disney?

3 minutes?!?! I would do sme major happy dancing if that's all it took for my hair. It's like a 3-4 hour process, minimum, if I want it how I like it. Damn mixed hair lol

As of about 12:30 PM today we are PAID IN FULL!!! Gave them all our flight information too, for the Magical Express!!!! Doing the happy Dance!!

This is the thread of enablement (is that a word?)... I ordered 3 fleece pullovers from disney today with free personalization and free shipping for $15 each, and a toy story sippy cup for $1 and a plushy 5" villain for $4.78 and split a 2 for $30 t-shirt deal with my mom. Great deal but without all of your continued shopping support, I would not be so excited about my package coming. So I thank you even if my bank account does not.

I can't believe it's already 38 days! I still need to figure out more of the new camera, finish planning book and invitations... fortunately my MIL lent me her Cricut and I have the mickey and a princess cartidge. I'm not a scrapbooker (yet?) but I'm having fun!

So I've been looking at my ADRs (I haven't done it recently, and I want to rejoin the ADR party ), and I realized I have 4 dining credits per person ununsed. I'm thinking of leaving them unbooked, and using them for QSs in parks for lunches, and for breakfasts, unless anyone has any better ideas.

Meals currently unplanned:
Three breakfasts (parks planned: HS x2, Epcot x1)
Four lunches (parks planned: Epcot, AK, MK, and HS (but we'll be in Epcot noon-3PM on a tour, and unable to stay in Epcot after the tour))
Arrival day dinner (we have a 2PM lunch ADR in Epcot, but we'll be in the park late for PM EMH).

Obviously with eight meals unplanned but only four dining credits per person available, we're short some dining credits. But I'm thinking/planning/hoping that since we're be eating a lot at each meal due to the DxDP we'll be able to get by without a true "lunch". Plus, we have a ton of snack credits that we can use to get us through between breakfast and dinner. Unless we use snack credits for some breakfasts, and then do a true lunch in a park.

FWIW, meals planned:
Breakfast: Akershus, Tusker House, Crystal Palace, CRT
Lunch: Rose and Crown, Liberty Tree, Via Napoli
Dinner: T-Rex, Le Cellier, California Grill, 'Ohana, BOG, Sci-Fi

Last time we had breakfast and that was plenty to get us through to a 5pm dinner with a snack or two through the day. You get 2 snacks with DxDP so thats plenty. I'd keep those credits for 'unplanned' meals

I was in PA for a week, savoring some real fall trees. It had been 3 years since I had seen a proper NE fall. Sooooo lovely!

So I opened an envelope from my mortgage company this week and the envelope contained a check. My property taxes had dropped and apparently they had withheld to much for escrow. So not only did my mortgage payment go down by $100/ month. But I have a check for $1900 that I was not expecting. That makes the trip budget a lot less tight.

I get the Christmas bug, too, but I force myself to wait until the day after Thanksgiving- then I wake everybody up to Handel's Hallelujah Chorus blasting on the sound system.

Oh, hey, here's the person with the hot EJO avatar. I'm not stalking you, I'm just a die hard Battlestar Galactica fan- I even have the drums from the title theme song on my ringtone. It does get one's attention.

We meet again! I love BSG. I watch it start to finish once a year. I was super excited to have seen Starbuck this fall in Atlanta. And now that you mention it...I might need a new ringtone I'm still sulking that there's no Olmos at the CP this year.

The surprise is out of the bag; we told the kids on Sunday they gave us the perfect lead with asking us to call santa and ask him for tickets for Disney. So Jeff called Santa and he said yes. The kids were like that's great hey can we go play. I was a little (okay a lot) disappointed in their reaction, but let it slide. So last night at dinner Kate (DD) asked how many more days until we go to Disney I said 39 days. Her eyes looked like a deer in the head lights, she screamed and said we are going this year. Jeff and I both looked at each other with a confused look, the kids thought we were going next year at christmas. After we explained the situation we got the reaction we wanted the jumping up and down and the faces all aglow.

Fantastic!! I watched plenty of youtube Disney reveals and I noticed that half the time the poor kiddos are just really confused lol

it just occurred to me that I have not been to the disney website to check or tweak ADRs or anything today. quick somebody hand me a thermometer

Okay...I actually made my first ADR tweak since booking them at the 180 day mark. With AK extending its hours to 7p.m., I switched my R&C from 7:35 to 8:10. That will give us just a bit more time in the park (either AK or EP) and puts us in a better position to still be at R&C for illuminations.

Hahahahahahaha this reminds... Yeah I tell DH "Orlando is apparently the most dangerous city to drive in.... Because tourists have no idea where they are going.."
