I should schedule a down day? I have Saturday and Sunday unplanned except for ADRs. We may go drinking around the world on Saturday with a local friend.

I'm debating making some, "just in case" ADRs at locations that are easily cancelled. I want to be spontaneous, but I also want to eat, LOL! I'd really like to do breakfast at Boma, but only if we are then going to AK. I had no problems last year getting a last minute ADR for Boma at breakfast though, so maybe I'll just wait. Argh.

I know my mom really wants to eat at Sci-Fi too, so maybe I'll make two - one for when I think we'll be there and then a backup, and if we go the first time I'll cancel the second one? Blergh. Overthinking. Or am I?

This made me laugh. I want to be spontaneous so I am overscheduling everything so we can then choose which plan we want to do. LOL Can you have a couple days with planned ADRs that you really want and then have a totally spontaneous day?? I thought your last day was like that since you arent doing LA Nouba or MVMCP.

Okay, odd question that is off topic, but about the DIS. How do you change the title of a thread that you started? I used to know how to, but I can't seem to figure it out now for my TR!

I know!!!! I had the ADR booked and then did the dessert party and looked at my schedule and went Neither one of us care about the food at all. I really just want to ride the boat over and see the huge Christmas tree. I was reading a TR last night and the woman didn't let her husband eat dinner at all because she was surprising him with the dessert party. DH won't go for that. He will need some kind of real food, but the all you can eat skillet MIGHT be a bit too much.

I know, I know, I'm INSANE, LOL! I have nothing planned on our last day atm. No ADRs, nothing. I am 100% certain we are going to end up at MK though, unless something catastrophic happened to keep us from another park earlier in the week. So I was debating making a lunch ADR inside MK.

ETA: I still have one TS meal credit to use up as well. 2 at Le Cellier, 1 at Chef Mickey's, 1 at Sci-Fi, so I want to make sure that last one gets used.

I sent out my second pre-trip Disney newsletter to the big kids (they're in college)!

I also CC'd it to DH- hope he missed the part where I reminded the kids about the time he turned too fast off EPCOT Center Drive, skidded and went up on the grass in the median.
So they could take ME from the airport instead of riding in the rental car this time.

Ok so now I am quoting myself.
I really did go over to look at my ADRs. I now have 10 ADRs for 7 TS credits!!! And I am not happy with some of them. I have the new Sanaa reservation for 11:35 on the same day that I had dinner at Tutto at 5:30. Tutto has no decent availability on my other days, so I cant move it and it was one of DH's few choices. Not too close together I guess, but not what I would have picked at 180 days. And if DH doesnt like Sanaa, he will know he has lasagna to look forward to. I still have the WCC reservation on the same night as the dessert party. I think I might cancel that one and eat CS at POP food court before we go to MK. I will just have to make DH go to WL at some point so I can see it.

You've got the same issue I do. Too much food in too short a period of time! I'd definitely nix the WCC reservation. You're paying for the dessert party, it'd be an absolute shame to be so full from dinner you can't enjoy all those wonderful desserts! If you figure an hour at Sanaa, that still gives you 5 hours between reservations. Not too bad since you're going to be up and active and actually working up an appetite between ADRs.

The big problem I've got is a day with an 8 am pre-park-opening Tusker House ADR, a 12 pm Yak & Yetti ADR and a 5:15 ADR at Narcoossee's before MVMCP. TOO much food, and the Yak & Yetti ADR will cut too far into the amount of time we have to shop at DTD that afternoon. Sissy wanted to eat there, but I may have to convince her more shopping time (and actually being hungry for our dinner ADR) is worth trading off Y&Y for a QS meal at EOS.

I think there's a good chance we won't even want lunch after Tusker House, but I've run out of ADRs to change to signature restaurants that "cost" 2 credits each unless I change 50's Prime Time to the Brown Derby our first night, and I don't want to do that since 50's Prime Time looks like tons of fun. Although who knows, maybe I'll get lucky and find a CRT cancellation on our MK morning.

Did you tell him all the thrill rides were supposed to be in the parks?

In DH's defense, it was raining and all our vehicles at home are 4WD. He was just so totally shocked when the steering wheel turned and the car did not!
