So if there was a pm EMH at DHS, for instance....but normal park closing would be 8pm, does it follow that in addition to the normal Fantasmic (6:30pm) it's likely to also have an 8pm (?) Fantasmic added? I'm rather hoping so...would like to do Osbourne Lights during the first Fantasmic but I don't have to sacrafice Fantasmic.

Fantasmic is never during EMH so they would have to extend hours to add a Fantasmic. But they do that a lot in Dec. Josh or Tp can give you a pretty good idea which nights will have a second one.

I've spent all afternoon creating the dividers and tabs for my trip binder. I was so happy to find a bunch of extra LGMHs that I had left over from my last trip that I can use this trip :goodvibes

Just realized I forgot to put making new holiday LGMHs on my ToDo list.

This is totally :offtopic: but I have to bring it up. Back in April my wife's car was destroyed by a hail storm and I caught it on my iPhone. I posted it on YouTube and about a week later I got an email from Mythbusters asking if they could use the footage on an upcoming show. That episode airs tonight! If you watch it, look for a red Pontiac Sunfire getting pummeled. That's my poor wife's car.:sad1:

That's so cool! We're huge fans of the show. We got to see their live show when they came to DC. DS was chosen to go up on stage and do several stunts with them. :)

Help oh great and wonderful planners of the DIS :worship:

Currently, these are our plans

12/24 - arrive from MCO, check in and hit DHS for the Osborne Lights (maybe F!)

12/25 Epcot from opening until after our Candlelight Processional, we have a package and the 5pm show.

12/26 MK at before opening until after our 530 ressie for dinner

12/27 AK opening until about 5, MK for our Wishes Dessert Party

12/28 DHS at opening.

12/29 open, 12/30 open (with ADRs at resorts), shopping, resort touring and finishing our "must do"

NOW, I'm thinking since we will be hitting it hard for three days, with 12/27 being a late night, that perhaps I should move DHS to 12/29. I have a feeling no one is going to want to make pre opening on 12/28 after the wishes party.
I have an F! package booked, that I will cancel if we do F! on 12/24. I checked, and there are no F! packages for 12/29 or 30. We have never been to F! and really want to do it this time, but I am afraid that we will NEVER make opening after the party. Not making opening means long waits for TSM, and I know its a "must do" 2x for the family.

I was talking to the hubs about it and he was like - when would we have to be up for DHS after the party? That sounds crazy?! I think he's right.

Thoughts?

My BF and i have been working on our Halloween costumes for almost the past month and we finally got to unveil them this weekend. They are still a surprise for a bunch of people, so I can't post our pic on Facebook, but they turned out so good I have to brag about them somewhere. :rotfl2:

These are the coolest costumes ever!

A couple of questions in red and also, what are the ages of your party members?

Are you planning to stay till park close on these days? Or just until dinner?

I never plan more than three full park days without an off day. And I try not to do more than two unless its only a 3-day trip. I think I would push DHS to the 29th. Or maybe sleep in on the 27th and push AK to the 29th?

What does LGMH stand for?? thanks :)

Lime Green Mickey Head - its how DISers recognise each other. Home Depot used to stock Disney paint chips in the shape of a Mickey Head and DISers would use those .... they no longer carry them. I'm going to make mine out of cardstock and write my DIS name on it :goodvibes

EP and MK just till dinner. I figure getting their before opening - 6/630 will be plenty.

I thought about moving AK, to the 29 and DHS to the 30 or vice versa, but I didnt know about the nothing "planned" on two days in a row except for the MK/Wishes Party.

I really think we need the sleep in the 28th for sure now. I had thought about making the 30 a late/light day so we could try to see the NYE pre fireworks at MK, and sleep in the 31st (ME will pick us up about 11).

The kids will have GCs as christmas presents, so I know they will want some shopping time, as well. so maybe both down days in the middle would be good....take it easy for wishes/dessert party, maybe resort hop before? And shop/down time on the 28th, pick up AK/DHS on 29/30?
