We will arrive about 4, and our ressie in MK is at the Plaza, and my kids are 11 and 7.

In my opinion, I think you should have the 28th as your 'rest' day, maybe do DTD and visit the monorail resorts to see their decorations. An easy day.

Then do DHS on 29th. Leave the rest of the schedule as is :)

Hi! My name is Brittany and I am in the beginning phases of planning a trip to WDW in December. Kind of a spur of the moment Christmas present. I want the kiddos to see the MVMCP so we are gonna take weekend trip.

Hi Brittany - glad you could make it over here. Welcome :goodvibes

Wow, quick trip! Ha! That should be easy for us to plan then ;)

So, how many full days will you have in Disney and what are the dates you are thinking of? Also, have you been before?

Welcome! Congrats on deciding to do your vacation to Disney during the Christmas season! In my opinion there's no better time to do it.

How could I forget?!? I didn't share my pants-excitement with you guys.

I am vertically challenged, my hubby is convinced I am secretly a hobbit.

I'm 4ft 11 and finding trousers (pants, although to me pants = knickers = panties) is almost impossible because even petites don't fit me because I am all torso and my legs are ickle.

But I found an awesome pair of yoga-type pants in Target and they do a 'short' length and they fit

Seriously, that is big news for me :teeth:

They do all lengths and I think they will be super comfy for Disney so go have a look girls (and guys, you know, if thats your style). Yummy Comfy Pants

AND there is a 'hidden pocket' although hubby thinks I won't be able to find it

I haven't been to DW sine I think 97 and I was in 7th grade. I was actually there with a music group performing in Orlando at a different convention, but my mom was awesome and squeezed in some Disney time for me.

We are driving in Thursday night and will arrive Friday afternoon. So we will only have a half day then and I was thinking Epcot that day. Then Saturday I have reservations at Hollywood & Vine for 8:05 and I was planning on probably spending all day in Hollywood. Then Sunday is the day of MVMCP so I'm thinking of going in at 4:00 and staying most if not all night. My kids are night owls, so I don't think they will have a problem being in the park til late.

I'm a sucker for all things Christmas so I'm super excited. And my son keeps talking about how Christmas is his favorite holiday so I think he is going to have an absolute blast. My daughter gets super excited about any kind of disney event so I can't wait to see her fac either.

Yoga pants are so comfy. I get them at the Gap but I don't think I've ever seen a petite size there. However I never looked. I am debating buying a new dress for December... Still debating for 4 days.....

There are a lot of rides in MK the kids will want to do so to be honest, I would factor in more MK time. How old are your kids?

I'm 5'0, so I have the same problem. I will have the check these out. I love that they are reversible too!

Your plan sounds like a great weekend away! How old are your kids? Epcot will be a great relaxing first day. Plus, I am really looking forward to seeing everything that is going on in the World Showcase for the holidays. Osbourne lights at Hollywood is a must! And you could potentially resort hop prior to MVMCP and see all the great decorations.

I'm at six weeks from today. I should probably be panicking but I'm not yet. I think because I have so much going on in the next two weeks:

-- DS's baseball playoffs
-- birthday party at school
-- Intl Children's Day ( school event)
-- benefits enrollment at work (bunch of changes)
-- school book fair all next week
-- Halloween
-- parent-teacher conferences
-- DS's birthday party

At the end of that I'll be down to 4 weeks. Then I'll panic. Especially if I'm still in dual-plan mode.

On the plus side, I worked on DS's party decorations and favors this weekend. So that's almost done.
