Does anyone else mess around with touring plans just to get an idea of what is realistic to accomplish during their park days? It's just me and dh.....I've been walking every day to build up stamina. Dh HAS NOT. I already told him, "Don't make me leave you behind because you can't keep up with me". :rotfl:

Me! I do! It gives me a better sense of what we'll probably Be looking at wait time wise, which helps me to figure out when to plan ADRs. It also can point out red flags for things that might be harder to fit into the schedule so that I'm sure we won't accidentally miss a "must do".

I've added an extra mile onto my land workout and extra laps on my swimming days to build up some stamina before our trip too. I told my sister this time I am NOT coming home feeling like the Mouse kicked my *** :)

It may be just me but I think touringplans.com is very unrealistic on their times when it comes to things that are not rides- shows, ADRs, the World Showcase, etc. The ride times are fun to play with, though.

The customized plans lets you put in your own times for ADRs. I have been padding extra time for parades, Wishes, Illuminations, etc. though. There's a "break" feature that I've been using to pad those. In the past I've done the personalized plans, estimating my own times (asked on their plans and data) for attractions, and I've generally found their times to be consistent. Of course, I won't know for sure until I test them.

Been working since this morning. During a little break I got most of my Christmas decorations for my room. I cannot find the Disney window clings anywhere though. :( Disney Store, Dollar Tree and Walmart dont have them. Does anyone know if Target has Christmas decorations out yet?

Only lights so far.

So today hubby had to work so I finished painting the backsplash in my kitchen.......and I worked on some of my "princess etc ornaments" for my tree! I bought the frame ornaments from Dollar General and printed the clipart from the internet on photo paper and reduced the size to 2"x3". This is the finished product:

Subbing! Can finally focus on this trip since I just got back from F&W. Have to look forward to something or I will be post disney depressed! Still, while we were there, I was dreading being there from 12/30-1/4, it is gonna be packed!!!

Q: I did sign us up for the CP dinner package on 12/30, but someone said this is a waste of money. Does anyone have any experience with this? I was thinking it was really necessary being this time of year.

TIA!

Welcome to the December group! I can't imagine in a million years the CP dinner package would be a waste of money. Quite the contrary...it'll guarantee you a seat and the line to get in will not be nearly as long as the folks who did not purchase the package.

Thank you everyone for the nice comments on my princess ornaments. It turned out to be a lot more than I was planning on but story of my life...not happy unless I make things complicated. :rotfl2: I ended up making 12 of the princess ornaments since y'all made me realize I just couldn't exclude any of them ;) Now what shall I do to pass the time? I already watched Beauty and the Beast today....now hubby and I are watching Peter Pan.
