Does anyone have a link to some mousekeeping tip envelopes that are xmas themed?

Good morning all. Had a great night at a Halloween party.

Getting ready for Sandy here. I'll be working from home tomorrow since transit is shutting down at 7pm tonight. Hopefully the electricity stays on.

In 6 weeks today I'll be getting my taxi to get to my train! :hyper:

Hope everyone is safe. Earthquakes, tsunami warnings and hurricanes. :worried:

Morning all! Hope everyone is safe and well this morning. Sandy is starting to be felt here in Maryland, though only drizzles so far in rain. Mostly wind is really picking up fast and the Chesapeake Bay is very choppy already. Thankfully our generator is filled and we have lots of extra gasoline in cans in case we lose power in the next 3 days while its hitting us.

We haven't gotten any rain yet but the wind has picked up. We had a beautiful day yesterday at the VA wineries. Today we're finishing up storm prep. Everything's cleaned up outside now I'm just trying to finish laundry and dishes and food prep. I have to fill the bathtubs with water. We have a well and everything in the house is electric, so no power means no water, heat, cooking, etc. We don't have a generator but we do have a kerosene heater. And we use buckets of water to flush toilets.

My last house had a well, so I understand completely. Good luck with hopefully keeping power and having enough water to get everything done. :goodvibes It will be starting to really rain here soon, still just windy for now.

I agree about living in England. You could hit a different European country every weekend for fun. Do you watch House Hunters International? I am obsessed with that show for that reason.

I love House Hunters International, I check the listings every afternoon to see which episodes are coming on!

Hope you are ok - I just saw that the waves were not as big as expected - hopefully it will stay that way. We're getting hit on both coasts
Stay safe everyone. Come on Mother Nature - get back to nice fall weather. :grouphug:
The first tsunami from the initial earthquake ended up being 3 feet of water in Hawaii. It was 4 inches in Alaska. I don't think anybody was "expecting" a major one, but when you live on an island the state likes to be cautious, so they send everybody uphilll for the night. Fun with traffic and suspended services near the coastal areas, which is the majority of the tourist-occupied space. Poor tourists. Hope Sandy ends up being as benign as our tsunami.
Crazy. I haven't looked at the news but 7.7 is pretty substantial :(
Fortunately the 7.7 was underwater, near some islands. That's part of the reason the geologists were having trouble predicting how large the tsunami might be; apparently they weren't sure exactly where the epicenter was. :confused3
OK there is where I get nervous. I was in 2 major earthquakes -one when I was living in San Francisco and one when I was in Los Angeles for the weekend. Scariest moments of my life when you are in a building that is swinging after no warning.
Oh my, that would be. There were no major earthquakes in the ten years I spent in California. The first few years I'd get nervous with the 4's and 5's and my California native friends thought it was funny. ;)

So we now have our Photopass+, single night dining plan added, airfare bought and ME scheduled for the last member or our party. Disney Dream Rewards card arrived and my Disney gift cards ordered from online (got 5% cash back from Discover on them!).

All that's left to work on is transportation plans and touring plans. :yay:

Better safe than sorry is good. I'd much rather be safe than see something terrible happen.

We have had a few "earthquakes" around here... We had one originate in our town and it was like a 3 and I was home alone with a newborn. It scared the junk out of me- my husband wasn't home and I think he thought it was some post partum delusions! Thankfully I've never experienced a real earthquake and just a few shakes and shutters (one just a week or two ago) the worst part is it just catching you off guard.

Well went to haunted happenings today :)

My munchkins! Nemo was a hit!

I sent my travel agent an email, letting her know that Abby and I had dropped 1900 Park Fare and replaced it with California Grill for our Monday dinner. She replied that she liked the idea, but really liked 1900 Park Fare - she said she thinks it's one of the best meals on site.

She recommended dropping 'Ohana and replacing it with 1900 Park Fare, because 1900 Park Fare is a "can't miss". I've never heard anyone else say that...thoughts?

I think the decorations at the Grand Flordian are a cant miss, however I wouldn't trade 'Ohana for 1900 Park Fare!

Sooo cute! Nemo & Snow White! My DS12 is dressing up as Tony Stark from the Advengers. He made an arc reactor out of tiny LCD lights.

I think the only good thing about him being older is that he can do things totally on his own, like carve a pumpkin. He's pretty good about cleaning up after his little projects too.

But I do miss him being little, I look at the pictures and read your stories about the little ones and it makes me wish he could be little again. It's the best and the time goes by so quickly. Enjoy every moment before you know it you are sending them off to college! Ugh! ;)

We already have an evening of monorail resort hopping planned, so we'll see the resort decorations even if we don't do 1900 PF.

'Ohana is the one place we are revisiting after our last trip. We loved it that much.

We are going to 1900 Park Fare for the first time on our upcoming trip, so I can't compare both.

Our party of eight ranges from ages 8 - 67 and we all loved 'Ohana.

Yeah, however if you are looking for a character meal the Step Sisters and Stepmother supposed to be hilarious.
