Plan: Spend few days with Cousins and head to the GF & WDW

Sunday December 7th - Spent the AM and afternoon with Cousins. I was a anxious to be leaving and heading to VMCP but it was hard to pull my mom away from Baby E. I kept trying to tell her that they let you in at 4 PM so lets go go go !!!! She kept saying we have the whole week to spend at WDW.
We finally left cousin's home at about 4 PM and found our way to the parking lot at the Magic Kingdom. Once I see the gates of the Magic Kingdom parking lot I get that warm fuzzy feeling. We entered the Magic Kingdom via the ferryboat got our buttons and wrist bands and we were off.
VMCP was totally awesome. It was my first time. We saw the first showing of Mickey's Twas the night before Christmas. We rode many rides during the first parade. We saw Wishes.
DO NOT WATCH WISHES FROM THE LIBERTY SQUARE BRIDGE OR BY THE SANDWITCH SHOP BY LIBERTY SQUARE BRIDGE, you will have an obstructed view. I fortunalty asked a cast member if this was a good spot and she said no. We found a spot on Main Street.
After Wishes we made a big mistake. We entered the Haunted Manasion and we were FOOLISH MORTALS.
The blue car thingees came to a complete halt when we were in the room with the ghostly bride and the heads that pop up. I think the bride's name is Emily. We waited and waited and there were many many anncouncements to the affect: "Please remain seated as the ride could start at any minute". It wasn't a minute.
I became so bored and was to the point of having a fit because we were going to miss the latter VMCP parade, that I called my brother in NewHampshire on the cell phone. Maybe Disney thought I was calling 911 but just as I told my brother were I was the CMs came by and unloaded us from the ride.
It was kinda cool walking out of the ride. We found a decent spot in Frontierland to watch the VMCP parade. It was the best Disney parade I have ever seen !!!! Two thumbs up for the VMCP !!!!
