We got out and voted this morning. We were #319 at 1030am. We went in an checked in and I took the boys in with me to vote. I was in and out because I knew everything I needed to do. Walked out and the volunteer looks at me and says "that was fast" .... Not sure if that was good or bad

We left the polls and headed to the library (which I forgot was a Polling Place). We had to circle twice to find a parking lot and walked in around a HUGE line. Glad to see so many out voting and early.

Maybe we'll run into you at Epcot/Coral Reef. Our ADR is at 9 and I think that's the day we are planning to drink around the world.

Oh, nice! I think our ADR is at 7:30 or something, though, so we might just pass each other.

I've searched that way but I never had any luck getting what I was looking for.

I have to admit I'm quite pleased with my list of ADRs despite not starting to plan this trip until last month.

Thurs 12/13: AK. Boma 10:45am; Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue 8:30pm
Fri 12/14: EPCOT - Ohana 5:15 p.m
Sat 12/15: MK. Liberty Tree Tavern 5:10pm

We'll be at the party on the 9th, also.

I will be in Disney from Dec 2nd through 8th. Plan on going to MVMCP on December 6th. Also will be taking a behind the scenes tour of the Magic Kingdom that my wife got me as a birthday gift. Does anyone think that MVMCP will be extremely busy since it is the same day as new fantasyland opening? We are styaing offsite but also will be visiting Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios

I was able to score an ADR to CRT on our first day in the MK instead of our last! So, now I have a lunch ressie at CRT for 12-20 at 1:10, that I am going to cancel. I will post it on the cancelled ADR thread but thought I would give anyone on here a chance first to try to coordinate with me if you are interested in trying to get it. Just let me know.

Hey there, your plans look great! Our trips overlap by a couple of days...we're at FW 12/9-15. Are you staying in the cabins? This is all new to us, too. I just hung up with Tee Time Cart Rentals...no 6person carts available that week. That had me worried...wondering how busy it really will be? I thought this was a slow week! Looking forward to hearing more about your plans!

We're there for the same dates! Where are you staying? We have the same plans for the last two days...although I have Ohana envy...our ressie for that day is San Angel Inn...if O'hana becomes available, I will jump on that!!! I just a post on the Dec Cancelled ADR thread from someone whose parents live in the NE and called Disney Dining because they are concerned they may have to cancel their trip. The CM supposedly told this person that they are expecting to get quite a few ADR cancellations in the coming days. Makes me very sad for all the people affected. But, you may not want to give up on getting ADR's just yet.

When I called the second time this morning the CM told me the same thing, lots of people cancelling due to Hurricane Sandy. Though she said a lot more were just pushing their trips back versus completely cancelling.

I'm trying to decide what to do now. I had originally planned on going to AK my arrival afternoon but since I just got CRT for dinner that day and don't have hoppers I'm not sure now. Do I get PH added on, or just try to rearrange my plans again...?

Holy Toledo! I still have to catch up on Part 3 yet and we have a Part 4 already! I don't know if I'll be able to catch up this time

Because of Sandy, aka Frankenstorm, I've been trying to catch up on things around the house as well as running some local errands. I just stood on the gas line for 1.5 hours just to get some gas in my car. I will be so glad when everything gets back to normal.

I would look at your plans and see what the impact is of re-arranging. I always seemed to be happier when I rearrange, even if I really liked the plan to start with.

Just saw this on DIS's facebook page - it's a link to the schedule for MVMCP. According to this, it looks like the new attractions in FLE will not be open for the party.

Word on the street is it will be open (well once the grand opening happens)...so that is why you don't see it (yet) on official stuff (such as there or on the printed map).

Oh geez can't keep up with the thread because you live in the middle of a natural disaster area.... Well we are glad you are doing well even though real life has you very busy!

What a productive day!!! Just finished making most of our dining ressies...still holding out hope for O'hana but, so far NOTHING...for any meal, on any day. Here is what I did get:

Tues 12/11: Nothing...yet. We're spending the day at AK; then MVMCP.

SO excited, especially for CP...however, I had to put a credit card number in and I have no idea how much the lunch buffet is per person.
Also, I want to make Mama Melrose's a Fantasmic package...not sure how to do that??

Don't know if anyone helped you out with this 1, but if you call wdw-dine, you should be able to synch it up (if there are still Fantasmic! combo pkg available).

I, personally, would rearrange. CRT is already so expensive. I wouldn't add on Hoppers just to eat there.

I'm glad to see you are ok. I was just thinking about you this morning.

I'm glad you got some gas in your car, since another storm is headed this way. I can't wait for it to get back to normal as well. I need to run some errands in North Jersey and really don't want to use the gas right now.

How does the fantasmic package work? I always thought it was a way to eat dinner and then go right over to a reserved seating area. But, I've seen some people mention it with their lunch??

Welcome to the thread...we are doing the MVMCP on 12/4 and I hope that FLE is open but I guess we will see. I don't know how BIG of a deal they are making of the Grand Opening, will here be a ceremony, special pin?? No one really knows at that point. Even if the party were to sell out they still limit the number of tickets so it still would't be as busy as during the day might be (just my thoughts I could be totally wrong, it's been known to happen...shhh, don't tell DH)


ETA - Ahhh, first time I've logged into the boards in a while (I usually use my phone) and my ticker no longer says any MONTHS!!!!
