We have to!!! We can be the nice happy cheery thread on the community board - I pop over occasionally and people seem so grumpy...

I will probably do that too, now that I have one. Yay!!

I dont know. After this trip, DH wants to wait 3 years to go back. I might get pretty grumpy. :sad2:

I don't see why we couldn't have a happy bouncy thread.

I'm not sure when we'll go back. I know we talked about doing a bounce back offer if we get one but then the other night he mentioned doing a cruise next year. :sad1:

Yes, this coming from the girl that hasn't been there since 1983. I know I'll like it enough that I'll want to go back again and again and again!! :rotfl:

Phew... now I'm up to date. ...for now.:lmao:

Thanks WedgieSock for the well wishes! :goodvibes

So far reading you guys I am almost glad we don't have Walgreens, Target or Disney Store (or Outlet) here in Quebec... and that shipping fees are so outrageous (well, mostly the duty brokerage fees by the carrier they use) that I can't shop online either!

...saves money! :rotfl2:

OK, really frustrating at times too... :guilty:

Hehe I say you either

A) Well - Solo trip here I come hubby!

B) DISmeet?

Maybe the fear of one or both will convince him to go!!

Ok, so next year you do split stay DCL and WDW!! Problem solved! If you are spending the money on airfare for DCL you might as well hop over to the world!!!:rolleyes1

If its a girl I would have to call her either Queenie or Lizzie in reference to our Queen, if you google images Queen Elizabeth and her corgis there are tons of pictures of her with her corgis from a little girl to now (she always has at least 4) she loves her dogs!

That sounds yum!

And no, I won't tell you not to order the fleece because you know you need one!!!! :teeth:

:woohoo: I can't wait for MVMCP!!! What night do you go? Add yourself to our list - you'll find the link in Post #2 :)

I'll be there on Sunday, December 2. Thanks for the tip, I just signed up.

I was at the 2011 MVMCP and I had a blast!! I wore a Santa hat, and my GF and I will both be doing the same this year.

Mike.

That's what DH said in Jan 2011, until I introduced him to F&W. Fortunately that's an annual event. :)

I have to laugh though about how much he's changed. Yesterday I was talking about how we could skip a lot of characters we've already done - and he pointed out that we'll want to do Wreck-It-Ralph. ;) This from the man who 2 years ago didn't think FLE was enough reason to go back.

Hmm.. that's not such a bad idea. We can do a 4 day cruise and then 4 days at WDW. He doesn't fly, so we are taking the train, but we could just take the train all the way to Miami!

You can spend your money while you are at WDW, unlike me who will be saying Awwww I wish I had money left to buy that. :rotfl2: I saw pictures of the new Bonjour Gifts yesterday and I told DH I will be spending money in there. :thumbsup2

I keep telling him I am doing a solo trip. He would have no interest in F&W, so I would love to go solo then. Or take my brother or mom.

I agree Aurora--a land and sea adventure!! Lol

Nice!! You have converted him. Mine is still in the camp of "We're adults, why would we want to meet characters?" Sigh.

WOW!!!!

9 pages in 6 hours. By my math, if we keep up the pace, Part 5 will be ready in 6.8 days.

Edit:
By Contrast... The November thread is only on page 24 of part 1.

WE RULE!!!!!

The hanging toiletry bag was one of the best purchases I ever made. I keep it stocked at all times. It even has it's own toothbrush and razor.

I've got the same set up. In a drawer in my dresser I've got a toiletry bag with a toothbrush, razor, hairbrush, toothpaste, etc. that I just keep packed all the time. I also keep a big ziplock bag in that drawer with a first aid kit I restock after every trip, bottles of the OTC meds we may need, sunscreen, etc. in it. That way when I go to pack all I have to do is grab the toiletry bag and that zip lock bag and I'm all set. It saves TONS of hassle over having to remember to pack all those little things every time we travel.

It's NOVEMBER and the November thread only has 24 pages on it??? We TOTALLY rule!!!!!! ::yes::

There are going to be a lot of DisBoard members who stalk Tofu's future trip plans to book trips the same time she's going just for her wonderful Roll Calls :rotfl2:

Are there any DisMeets planned between December 9-16???

Here's my schedule so far:

Fri 12/7: EPCOT (CP and EMH)
Sat 12/8: AK morning/MGM (Osbourne Lights) night and possibly River Roost at POR afterwards
Sun 12/9: Resort hopping in the morning/Magic Kingdom & MVMCP at night (with a Dole Whip stop)
Mon 12/10: DTD morning/MGM (Fantasmic!) afternoon & night
Tues 12/11: EPCOT day/DTD night
Wed 12/12: Open day (with Le Cellier dinner)
Thur 12/13: Park hopping for merchandise/Departure at night

Just keep an eye out for the 6' 300 lbs Boston Irish guy decked out in Bruins/Pats gear (or a Mickey Mouse hockey sweater), and you've found BDL. :wave2:

We will also be putting BDL and BDLsgal in our windows at POR-RGR, as well. :thumbsup2

Well if you already did the time on the train that it is definitely a no brainer!! I think WDW is a two hour drive from Port (Never cruised so I could be wrong)
However, I have heard Disney Cruises are the best...

Well, we are trying to get to Part 41 before Tofu leaves for her trip!! :rotfl2:

We just gotta keep up the pace... Maybe I should forego all housework, work, and exercising to contribute to the cause.... On a side note - I hope DH has a small change of heart this trip :) You have planned a TRULY awesome trip!!pixiedust:

On another sidenote - on another side note on a short treadmill break - and while I am exercising watching Once Upon A Time on Netflix - ugh i am so in love with Ginnifer goodwins hair.... It's a big debate for this thursdays haircut - I almost did it last spring (but mentioned as soon as I seemed settled on it a friend got the same type of haircut) However, I also do not want to be learning a new style for vacation....

I think that is a great idea! DH swears we are not going back to WDW next year....but there is always hope for a Disney cruise, even if it is out of Galveston!

I wish I could convert DH to someone who wants to go every year. Although, as far as characters go, he was incredibly patient (no small feat for him) during all the hurry up and waiting to meet characters. Of course, he still talks about how Jasmine was his favorite character to meet!:rolleyes2
