6 Days from now I will be getting up super early to get to the airport for our 8:05 AM flight! Can't wait to check-in to WL to see their beautiful decorations!!

My cough is starting to get a little better Should be done with this by Tuesday if I am thinking right. The trouble is I threw out my back somehow. I think it may have been from the coughing. I even skipped shopping yesterday because I was in that much pain. I am still having problems walking and bending. I am worried about work tomorrow. I do have a sick day left, but co-workers get mad about people taking sick days which is just sad...I have been icing and heating and taking Aleve, so hoping it starts helping. Leave it to me to hurt my back when we have less than a week to go.

Take your sick days. That's what they are for. If you push to hard it will take longer to heal. You don't want to mss around.

So, any DVC-ers ... what are the restrictions on room decorations? I wasn't planning on putting any up, but last night DS6 starting asking for Xmas lights, so I was thinking of getting some to stick on the windows with suction cups like our neighbors have, maybe some stars and snowflakes. Is that acceptable at BLT and BWV? Mainly its for us to see on the inside ...

We saw great Halloween decorations at the BWV Boardwalk rooms on our last trip. Some of the balconies really went nuts. It was cool and obviously acceptable. I'm bringing string and command strips so I don't have to tape anything but we're definitely decorating. (see my sig) of course we're the only ones who will see it, except for the door wreath. And maybe if we have a pool room I'll put lights around the window.

I never thought about it but do you think someone would be angry about me putting up a wreath on my resort room door at POR? I'm not using anything permanent....just an over-the-door wreath hanger. I did think about someone swiping off my door, though......

The Golden Rule.....it's a good rule!

Door decorations are super common in Values but it gets iffy as you move up. Sometimes it's fine and sometimes not. Probably depends on what you put up, who's in charge, who complains, etc. I'm making a door wreath. If they make me take it down I'll just move it inside.

A friend of ours already has us on a countdown based on hours. She already told us today that we leave in 96 hours

I just started packing this evening. We've had too much going on with Thanksgiving and a Christmas parade that I haven't been able to start until today. Plus I've been doing to make sure we have everything washed and ready to go. That and the fact that I don't want to come home with a ton of wash to do .

I have our packing lists ready to be printed (holding off in case I've forgotten to add anything). I'm currently working on my list of things we need to take care of and set up before we leave. Which reminds me...for those going this week - make sure to call your bank(s) and let them know you are going on vacation. This will ensure that they don't think someone stole your card and went to Disney with it! Having a card locked would really put a damper on your vacation. (Hmm, that's weird. I wanted to put this in a different color and it's not giving me the option to do that . Anyone else have problems?)

Everyone is finally starting to get excited for our trip. DH has already said that my mind is already in Disney and in MK. I told him no. My mind is already in DTD since that's where we're going the first day

That reminds me - I found several hundred dollars of charges to some Asian online gaming company on my debit card yesterday. So now my card is shut off. I have to go to the branch tomorrow to get a temp card. Because I didn't have enough to do.

Last night I made gift tags for all the pixie dust presents. I'm waiting for dS to go to bed now so DSis can wrap the gifts. The list is getting smaller.

That reminds me - I found several hundred dollars of charges to some Asian online gaming company on my debit card yesterday. So now my card is shut off. I have to go to the branch tomorrow to get a temp card. Because I didn't have enough to do.

DH & DS will be going to get haircuts tomorrow too! DS6 keeps asking for a mow hawk and I told him not in my Disney pictures after the money I spent on Photopass!

I bought a couple things for my door, but I got them at the Dollar Store so that if someone does swipe them I'm not out a chunk of money for it. I'm out $2 instead!

I figured there was nothing I could do, they owned up to the error immediately so that's the best that could happen. I might notice but I know Zoey won't

I got the kids basically all packed up, half of my stuff and just waiting on DH! I also have made a pretty comprehensive last minute packing items (because we use daily) I can't believe how close it is! My sinuses still hurt enough for my teeth to hurt though I need to get over this now!! DH too- however so far kids are 100%

All my Disney indoctrination on my DD (2) has worked. The first thing she said upon seeing the tree was "DONALD!!!"

Then, "Minnie" and "Mickey" as she spotted all the Disney ornaments. I sure love that kid!!

Looks great ! I would love to do that, but we get a real tree every year. As it is, we are not able to decorate our house until after we get back . I would have loved to have done it this weekend, but there was just too much to do that it made it impossible.

I imagined coming home to a dried out tree that my cats and dog turned into a play toy while away.... So we are getting it when we come back. I did stock up on dog and cat food today so I don't have to worry when I'm gone. My sister and her BF will be taking of them while we are gone.

Ooo and I got my Disneystore order in! I bought Christmas pjs for the girls, Angus & Maximus (horses from Brave and Rapunzel) 14" plushes, mini bean bag plushes of Rex & Trixie and Rapunzel & Merida fleece throws and pre ordered Peter Pan!

Ahh! We are so close to part 5! I hope we get there before the weekend so I can link it up before we leave. Hoping to have time to at least come in and update you guys while we are there. I'm definitely gonna try and tweet while we are there. This time next week we'll be about 4 hours into our trip which should put in VA somewhere. I think.

Did tons of updates on my PTR today and hoping to do a life update on it tomorrow.
We did our tree today and now I'm relaxing on the couch looking at it after our busy week. Tuesday was DH bday, Thanksgiving where I hosted for my Mil, Fil and niece, and Saturday we celebrated Christmas with my sisters, bils, parents, and nieces. Plus I also helped my mom set up her tree last Saturday and my sister do the tree at her daughter's elementary school.
This week I need to figure out our packing list and get whatever we may still need... Anyone have a great packing list??
