Hmm.. that's not such a bad idea. We can do a 4 day cruise and then 4 days at WDW. He doesn't fly, so we are taking the train, but we could just take the train all the way to Miami!

We did the DCL split/WDW stay in 2008 and it was awesome. We drove down, arrived in Cocoa Beach on Saturday, cruised Sun to Thurs, left DCL drove to MCO picked up my dad (mom, DS & I cruised) and stayed at All Star Sports till Monday.

WOW!!!!

9 pages in 6 hours. By my math, if we keep up the pace, Part 5 will be ready in 6.8 days.

Edit:
By Contrast... The November thread is only on page 24 of part 1.

WE RULE!!!!!

Wow!!!

Here's my schedule so far:

Fri 12/7: EPCOT (CP and EMH)
Sat 12/8: AK morning/MGM (Osbourne Lights) night and possibly River Roost at POR afterwards
Sun 12/9: Resort hopping in the morning/Magic Kingdom & MVMCP at night (with a Dole Whip stop)
Mon 12/10: DTD morning/MGM (Fantasmic!) afternoon & night
Tues 12/11: EPCOT day/DTD night

Thur 12/13: Park hopping for merchandise/Departure at night

Just keep an eye out for the 6' 300 lbs Boston Irish guy decked out in Bruins/Pats gear (or a Mickey Mouse hockey sweater), and you've found BDL. :wave2:

We will also be putting BDL and BDLsgal in our windows at POR-RGR, as well. :thumbsup2

Did I already know we had the same Epcot day on 12/7?? Are you doing CP dinner?? (should I know that too?

Regarding weather... I've been checking Accuweather as they have the longest forecast. Right now they show Nov 29 to be 80 high, 63 low.

I'm sure accuracy is spot on. Hahahaha!!!

When doing online check in can you request a king bed? Higher floor? I have heard there are some requests you can make during online check in.

Hi :wave2: I'm a newbie to the board. We are going to WDW Dec 28-Jan 1. We are staying at POFQ. It's DH 4 or 5 trip, my 2 and DS(9) & DD(7) 1st trip. None of us have been for Christmas or New Years. We are getting super excited!!!

What a productive day!!! Just finished making most of our dining ressies...still holding out hope for O'hana but, so far NOTHING...for any meal, on any day. Here is what I did get:

Sun 12/9: Whispering Canyon Cafe 1:05pm
Mon 12/10: Nothing...yet. We're spending the day at MK...hoping for O'hana
Tues 12/11: Nothing...yet. We're spending the day at AK; then MVMCP.
Wed 12/12: Mama Melrose's 3:35pm
Thurs 12/13: Sci Fi Diner 12:15pm
Fri 12/14: San Angel Inn 1:00pm; Rose and Crown or France bakery late night
Sat 12/15: The Crystal Palace 2:20pm

SO excited, especially for CP...however, I had to put a credit card number in and I have no idea how much the lunch buffet is per person.
Also, I want to make Mama Melrose's a Fantasmic package...not sure how to do that??

Don't know if it will be exactly the same but I have lunch at Crystal Palace on 12/3. I just called yesterday and adult is $27 and child is $15.

Aack!!! I had NOT planned on it being quite THAT warm. Guess I better go pull a couple pairs of shorts out of the pile of summer clothes that I need to relocate to the basement.

Mid 70's is typical for down here, but you really feel the chill in the evening because it drops by up to 40 degrees

Mid 70's is kinda chilly for me, I certainly won't be wearing shorts haha

OMGosh......I'm 15 pages behind on part THREE.

I'm needing opinions.....

Rose and Crowne dinner

OR

Tutto Italia dinner

I can't believe I'm still fooling around with reservations. Background. My grandparents are from Sicily. No relative is from England. We have ressies for Via Napolli at another time and also ressies at Ragland Road.

What cuisine do we prefer? I like both and both menus. This is for the Candlelight Processional. If we go with Tutto it's 4:45pm. If we go with R&C it's at 5:25. I have a 2:15 Le Cellier that I may cancel BUT I also have a Le Cellier the day before at 1:30 (and dinner BOG at 4:45).

The reason this all came about was I was trying to get a different Le Cellier to allow us more time in between lunch and dinner. As you can see, I was unsuccessful as both days meals allow 3 hours in between lunch and dinner. So I guess bottom line is R&C or Tutto?

And your doing DDP? I think tutto is a better value $ wise....

I like R&C better than Tutto. (also like via Napoli better than Tutto.)

So now for opinion. Thinking we are going to make lunches in the villa-- however we will need to do QS the first Saturday in AK.... So Yak & Yeti QS or Flame Tree BBQ?
