It has been a great day!!!! Got my hair cut and colored (sorry, nothing dramatic) and texted with my HR friend while I was there. I have a job!! She is currently negotiating the start date and pay for me. She told me the range it would be and I would be fine with even the lower end of it, but she is trying for almost what I was making at my old job. The start date is currently 2/13, but she is trying to get that moved up. I told her that date is fine with me, if I know I get the job. So excited!!! I was hoping this would come through before we went to Disney, so DH wouldnt stress over every souvenir or drink purchased.

Congrats!! That is awesome. One more thing to put behind you so you can enjoy your trip!

Yippie!!! So glad you were able to find a new job so quickly and that DH was able to keep his vacation dates for your trip! Now you'll be able to do lots of shopping on your vacation

Great to hear! I've played with one in the store, but my husband saw me looking online and stood there until I ordered it. He said worth the kids and being far away from family it was worth investing in. He knows I didn't really want to spend the money before Disney but insisted I order it then & there do I did!

I'm getting my pedi later this week. Not sure if I'm going to do Mickey toes or not. DBF keeps suggesting it. But I broke my left big toenail down pretty far and I don't think it'll look nice.

Little man is down for a nap. I'm clearing off the video camera we rarely use, even though it's really quite nice. I have the '08 Rose Parade on there! Yikes...think it's time to clear it all off?

I think I'm going to give myself a pedicure as well. I can't do anything too Mickey themed since the trip is a surprise, but I do have the Minnie nail polish from OPI so I'll settle for that!

Then I have to finish laundry & packing. I can't believe we leave tomorrow! I still have autograph books to finish too and shirts for MVMCP to make! Yikes! Ad my oldest will be home in half an hour! Better hop to it!

Well, I just check Weather.com or WeatherUnderground until I find a forecast I like. Which just goes to show you that this far out the accuracy of weather reports is barely better than throwing darts!

I am going to Disney in 12 days!!!! Yes, I am sure. DH called a few minutes ago. He still doesn't know where he will be working for sure, but he did confirm with his potentially new supervisor that he can take that week off with no problem. I knew she would be the sensible one in this whole mess.

I'm so glad of the few things I read this is one of them yay!!! I can't wait for you to go!

I am going to start this thread soon, so it is up and running while I am away. Any suggestions?

I know we wanted to do some polls and picture 'contests' etc. I probably will save space in post #2 and #3 of that thread for fun stuff like that. I imagine the first post will be a listing of all those who are participating in the group threat and the links to their TR. For starters, I will simply cut and paste what we have on post #2 here.

I would save a couple extras. Never know what we'll decide to do with them
